I don't either, but I blame him for not being a leader and trying to get players to join him; instead of being just a follower and going where it's easy.

How many big time free agents did Lebron get to play with him in Cleveland?

I don’t have a problem with ppl booing, but the media will shred us.

I'm booing him. Sorry guys.

That’s fine, but don’t bitch when/wonder why high profile players don’t wanna play for us. What the frick do you plan on gaining from booing (arguably) the best player in franchise history because he wants to play somewhere that might make a conference finals some time in the next 10 years? Because I hope it’s not eagerness from free agents or traded stars to play here.

There’s wanting out and there’s how AD handled it.

He wanted out? He could have told Dell not to buy at the deadline and then played it out until summer.

Trying to force his way to LA 10 days before the deadline and trying to actively depress his value to other teams in the process? frick him and give him a Dirty Sanchez across that unibrow.

They should do it and make him feel as uncomfortable as possible. He is bringing all of this shite on himself. He could've kept his mouth shut publicly and not tried to force some shite hand on the team. Instead, he and his agent intentionally tried to force the team into a corner publicly. That's pathetic.

If he wants to leave, by all means, leave. Just honor the contract you sign and do your job which is to better the team, not hurt it.

There’s no realistic way he could really do
any of that if his goal is to move to a contender, given the CBA and his contract,

I can’t honestly blame him for wanting a change of scenery. Life is short, especially for a professional athlete.

I'm just not sure how booing or not booing would affect the future any way.

I think if he had done all this privately with the organization and he came back and people were booing him relentlessly, I could see maybe that being a sour thing. A dude straight up saying he wants out and making it a public ordeal, I don't think people would expect him to get the royal treatment after that.

Actions have consequences.

The contract he signed a few years back was great for him up until he decided he would never beat the Warriors here. Now it’s “frick that contract, I want my freedom.”

I’d have entertained trades this offseason once it became clear he was leaving, up to and including the statement “I’m not signing the extension.”

He fricking knows better than to think we’ll take whatever shite sandwich deal is out there to go to his designated team when there are about 4 others who can or will bid more for him.

They should just chant MVP every shot he misses. Maybe it will piss him off to the point where he plays well.

One glance at the comments of Lebron's tone-deaf instagram post tells you all you need to know about player mentalities.

That being said, I'm not as understanding about AD wanting out as some Pels fans, and the way he has handled it completely turned me against him.

I'm pissed we have to play him. I'm pissed at Klutch, Lebron, the Lakers, the NBA, and I'm pissed at Davis.

I would vocalize those frustrations if I were attending the next home game.

I think “Not Your Time” when he screws up and “Just Call Paul” when he hassles the ref on a foul call are appropriate.

Don't care if people boo or not, but I do think it would be better if there were just some kind of sarcastic chants directed at him during the game.

I just don't understand how his Dad can complain about the Celtics being unloyal to their players because of the Isaiah Thomas trade but yet AD has shown no loyalty to the team that drafted him. Ironic isnt it

For a couple years I said I wouldn't blame AD for wanting to leave if we can't give him the team he needs to realistically compete for a championship. I totally get and respect players that are willing to sacrifice in pursuit of winning and their larger legacy. It's the sort of mentality you want from players in this sport. And to be frank the organization itself has failed both Ad and the fans with the product they have put together around a generational talent, that ire hasn't gone away and won't.

But he isn't looking to simply win. It's not some pure and noble cause. If that was the case there would be a number of additional options and places like NY would be off the table, he just wants to force his way to LA or a bigger market at the expense of this franchise, if he can win, that's a bonus, but not a prerequisite. Using some pretty backhanded methods to do it.

Now after setting off a fire his selfish arse is demanding the ability to play the rest of the season and in all likelihood cost us valuable draft positioning and risk toxifying the team and the fanbase. Why? Because it's what HE wants.

If you are a fan of the team, the way AD has behaved is disgusting. I hope he gets booed, I do. The idea that fans should simply grit and bear it as a player selfishly and apathetically undermines the team we actually care about is absurd.

Exactly. Players just don’t see it like us.

If AD said after game 82 that he wants out and prefers to do it before next season, especially after missing the playoffs, I don't think a single person would be mad at him. We would all be upset to lose him, but not mad.

And Jrue is wrong, by asking for a trade mid-season he exactly said he does not want to be here. frick AD, I cannot wait to boo his arse tonight.

this.

he handled it terribly and selfishly.

to expect pels fans to sit on their hands is insulting after how AD did all of this, he tried to strong arm a move to the Lakers and it blew up in his face.
