why would they not boo him?
he is taking up minutes from guys who actually want to be here and play.
AD is taking away playing time from other guys on a team that he does not want to be a part of.
They should boo the ever living frick out of him, AD is as selfish as it gets in this situation.
Why would the national media care if we bood? they see too that he is taking up minutes from other actual Pelicans players.

His point is that booing a player is a negative for the fan base in the eyes of the players.
I think most current and ex players have their opinions on this and they aren’t particularly complimentary of AD.
Hence Charles Barkley ripping on LeBron by suggesting Giannis trade his whole bench for AD.

CP3 doesn't get booed. maybe a little, but most fans still have a special place in their heart for him even if they hate his flopping ways.
No one would have a problem had this been done in the offseason. The only reason it was done when it was, which was unprecedented, is b/c he and his agent were trying to force AD to the Lakers b/c they know the Lakers can't get him in the offseason. frick AD for that.
He does this in the offseason, especially after this shitty season, we all understand. We don't have to like it, but everyone can respect it.
He doesn't deserve respect for what he just did, and that's a shame b/c i don't think he thought this through and intended it this way. He's just a naive idiot.

Booing AD = booing Adam Silver and the NBA as far as I'm concerned.
If the league wants to force us to gamble with our top asset, they deserve for us to make it as awkward as possible for everyone involved.
Sucks for AD, but it is what it is.
The hope would be that if we can make it awkward enough, they'll retract the threats levied against us in the event we were to sit him.
