Who are you putting on the bench for this starting PG? Herb? CJ is our PG, but we need another PG/SG for the bench. As everyone has said, turn Dante into a better fitting bench guard and we are there.

What we really need to do is to turn Graham into someone like Caldwell-Pope or Alec Burks.

This is what we really need. CJ, Jose and Kira will be enough at the pg position. We need another big lockdown guard that can hit 3’s.

CJ and BI both had 9ast last night---a starting PG isn't our problem.

I agree with LosLobos and saintsfan. With the three scorers we have in BI, Zion, and CJ, I'm not sure we need another guard who is going to handle the ball very often. We really just need a guy who can play good defense and knock down open shots, which they should be getting a lot of.

A Pat Beverley / Alex Caruso type of PG is what they need. They have that in GTA.

I guess you don't count Steph or Dame as PG either

The problem is the same problem we had last year, you want that third three level scorer to help alleviate your top 2 players.

Difference is, WE HAVE THAT PLAYER...he's just rehabbing still.

If Zion is playing no team can load up on us unless they are willing to sacrifice one of CJ/BI/Zion getting a one on one matchup, or better.

Is Lamelo Ball appealing for Pels "AT ALL" for a zion trade?

Lets assume we get pick 2 or 3 in lotto and can come away with a PF.

Zion has been the biggest supporter of the team since returning. He's busting his arse to return, seems maybe even slightly frustrated he cant risk his foot to help us win....and people STILL talking about selling low on him

Pg- Ivey/Jose
Sg- CJ
Sf- BI
Pf- Zion
C- Val

Herb rotates, as the 6th man

You would have Ivey come off the bench in that case. That starting lineup would get murdered defensively. Herb is written in granite in the starting lineup

He's the biggest lot of things.

My scenario is pretty specific above and its more about how well would a lamelo ball elevate this current squad on the floor in the playoffs.

BI and CJ had about 20 assists between them

Reject the old rigid thinking

Embrace the modern NBA

Dont think there is a single guard in this draft that would start on our roster year one.

We'd also have to win the lottery to have a chance at Ivey. In all likelihood the Pels will have whoever is left standing of Sharpe/Mathurin/Griffin at 8

This would be the best case scenario if we don’t hit the lottery. Any of these three have tremendous upside and can be developed slowly. Griff better not screw it up. It’s an easy layup.

And we can quash the Zion wants out. He may not have been engaged before but think a few weeks after the CJ trade and this run now, everything has changed on his outlook of the team.

CJ is the PG. Even in Portland when Dame was hurt, they would make CJ the point and he’s do well. This isn’t anything new we’re doing here.

I'm gonna laugh so hard when we're gonna have these "who do we keep, trey or herb" talks
