It’s deeper. I’m not worried about looking sexy coming out of the trade.

Can’t see Nets package that high. I’d be so pissed if we traded with them. Much prefer Celtics offer if it includes Tatum, Brown and Grizz pick followed by Knocks with #3, Robinson and Mavs picks.

A bunch of role players and depth isn't going to get this team over the hump.

Interesting. Considering I heard this afternoon that although Griffin has been out on the West Coast the meeting hadn't actually even taken place yet, contrary to current conversations.

You heard wrong. It happened yesterday.

Davis still wants out. Surprise!

You mentioned that we might not get the offer from the Celtics that we think we will get, what gives you that inclination?

Been telling you the same thing. They think they can get AD without giving up both Jaylen and the Grizz pick. I think they are right, too.

I think the one thing we all have to remember is that even the people with reliable sources won't necessarily be reliable right now. A person with sources isn't gonna burn their bridge with their source by putting out the front offices REAL PLANS for a move as important as this, and when leverage is this important.

Right now even those who are reliable are being fed false info, or being told what to put out there. Us fans aren't the only people that look across msg boards to see what people with "sources" are saying. So all this stuff about Nets being frontrunners or at least very much in the running is prob just a high level insider leak to keep other teams guessing. That's what I think anyway.

Cant say I’m disappointed, when you only play half a season.

1) How so? What are you actually getting out of that trade that’s worth more than Tatum/Brown & picks or #3 pick Robinson/DSJ?
2) That’s what she said!

The fact that they had a meeting is pretty well known. Klutch even responded by saying continuing talks would be between Griff and his agent and not AD.
