Was at the season ticket holder event today and Joel Meyers was interviewing Griff and Willie. In the interview, Griff said the alpha of the team is Herb.

I actually think it’s true. Pels twitter had a clip recently asking all the players what they liked about New Orleans/the fans and Herb talked about how they appreciated players that worked hard. The way he said it you could tell he didn’t think much of players that don’t work.

He seems to push the energy level of other players like Jose does and looks like a culture setter.

Im not disagreeing with this. Herb is a huge part of the culture. I just think Griffin is clever when he says stuff, whether its true or not.

The media treats Draymond Green like some type of super Alpha for the Warriors.

Herb is a much better player and culture setter in my opinion.

Remember that girl back in Jr High...maybe the 8th grade or so...that was just "different" from all the other girls. Seemed like she was "14...goin' on 18".

Well...in basketball years...for reasons I'm not totally sure of...when Herb arrived in NO, he was "22...goin' on 18". But he's starting to catch up...

It's nothing against NO...because I can assure you...when he arrived at Tuscaloosa, he was "18...goin' on 14"...in basketball years. You see those kind every once in a while and sometimes you end up with MUCH more than you ever thought you had...when the smoke clears.

Herb isn't close to peak Draymond.

There is no way we're shopping Herb less than a year after we paid him, unless we're putting together a package of Herb/BI/shite ton of 1sts for a true superstar.

lol I get people don’t like Draymond because of his antics, but this is silly. Take the homer glasses off.

So did Josh Hart. I loved having Josh on our team, but trading him for CJ and Larry was still a great thing.

Since green got to GSW they are .500 in games he didn’t play. In the lineup - 67% wins

Steph win% without Green - 58%
Steph win% with Green - 72%

Steph is not Steph without Green.

Draymond drafted to a team without the 2 best shooters to ever play - gets his arse handed to him in his first few years and is a MLE player at best for a few years.

One of the best and the most verstile defender of this generation who is extremely smart on offense isn't an MLE guy.

What are we doing right now?

Teddy's good for takes like this, but hes not entirely wrong. Lots of players would look like incredible distributors playing with steph klay and kd.

He is an incredible defender though. Definitely more than an mle guy lol
