This draft seems very guard/wing heavy. What big could the Pels get through the draft that could give them some height/rebounding/rim protection? I love Zion, but at 6'6", will he really be effective at both ends of the court at the 5?

We'd have to move down in the draft to get help at C. I don't see us taking Hayes or Bol at 4.

I still think Naz Reid in the second round could be a GREAT pick. He got hammered for not showing great athleticism at the combine, but I never saw him play against another big that I thought was as good as him. That includes Bruno and Gaffney.

Naz thinks he is a SG in a PF body. He isnt physical and doesnt like playing low for whatever reason.

Naz would definitely be a project player. I think he could be good, but he is not an NBA starter.

True. I think the NBA will have a way of humbling him though, and when he learns to bang down low, his shot will really help with spacing.

Besides it would only be a 2nd rounder, so nbd if it doesn’t work out.

If they could move up or down to the mid first round Hayes or Bol may be available.

This Is 2019 he’s not gonna play like shack and a Big who can space the floor is good.

Especially when you want people to draw people out of the paint so Ziom can do his thing.

Be basically need everyone around him to shoot 3s and that’s not really what we have so far

Would you guys trade #4, Lonzo and Hill for Andre Drummond and #15? And resign Elfrid, Spacing might be terrible though

Elfrid
Jrue
Ingram
Zion
Drummond

You don't have to solve every problem/fill every need in one draft/offseason.

Myles Turner would probably be the best guy that could be picked up. It depends on what the Pacers want though.

Having a "big" center is not really a need in this NBA.

Our goal should be to put as many shooters as we can around Zion. He can be a much better version of Draymond Green with his ability to handle the ball at the top of the key and either drive and kick or drive and finish.

If I could have a big for this offense it would be Lauri Markkanen or Myles Turner. Both can run the floor well and shoot the 3 and both can rebound well. Markkanen is the better offensive game while Turner is a premiere defender. I’d just be happy to get Mirotic back.

Turner is a highly skilled big, but the things you need your bigs to do he doesn’t do all that well. You can’t put him next to Zion and expect to compete on the glass. We would get dominated.

As much as I like Turner, the rebounding alone is a big enough issue for me to pass on him.
