IF the Pelicans keep 17 (and I'm not convinced they don't make yet another trade to move back, for a veteran, or for a future pick).

Corey Kispert
Keon Johnson
Trey Murphy
Chris Duarte
Alperen Sengun
Ziaire Williams
Jaden Springer
Kai Jones
Jalen Johnson
Cam Thomas

All guys that have been a bit all over the place. Who do you like?

The list isn't that much different than 10 and that's beautiful.

I can convince myself with all of these guys except Kai Jones.

Its a very unpredictable draft this year after 6ish

If Sengun is still there at 17, I’m booking it to the podium. We can flip Val for a decent guard/wing if we want/need to.

If Sengun is off the board, out of the players listed, I’d probably like Duarte or Kips fit wise if we are bringing Zo back or slotting someone like Lowry in. If we aren’t planning on targeting guard in Free agency, I’m looking at guys like Springer, Bones, or Tre Mann.

You also might be able to flip 17 and 35 for something like 22 and 23 from Houston and grab 2 guys you like. Maybe 1 high floor guy and 1 ceiling play.

Kispert, Murphy, Duarte, Springer

I’ve been against Johnson at 10 but him at 17 is more intriguing

I’m cool with packaging 17+35+50 to move up a few spots to get the guy you want.

Would love to see them land Kispert, Duarte, or Murphy

Would like the majority of these prospects. I would also consider Jared Butler above some of these guys as an option and consider Garuba a good option as well.

I could even see Davion Mitchell falling to 17 if teams are really worried about his measurements. I think of the guys likely to still be available, my big board would:

1. Sengun
2. Keon Johnson
3. Kispert
4. Jalen Johnson
5. Duarte

If they plan to go after starting caliber guards in free agency, I'd be interested in drafting a microwave scorer off the bench like Thomas, Hyland, Mann, etc...

I haven't watched much film on the guy, but is there a world where Keon could be Quasi Jaylen Brown?

Athleticism wise I think there is a comp. Jaylen was a special prospect from an intangibles and intellect standpoint though. I really don’t know much about Keon from that aspect.

i'm sure if there are guys we really like that we feel we can get later, you can trade back to Houston for 23 and 24 and get them there.

I'm biased due to LSU, but I would love Cam Thomas coming off the bench for the Pels. He reminds me a lot of Buddy Hield coming out of college.

I think the latest workout they did was with Springer. So maybe that’s the most likely pick if he is there. They also worked out a ton of second round projected players too.

But I don’t mind trading the pick for Reddish who Atlanta wants a first pick for.

Why would you want Reddish? That's like having 4 free agents from 1 class. That would be insane to even consider that.

All of them will be RFA. The only guy who is most likely to get a max will be Zion. If other teams try to sign those guys, we can match. Especially if all of them work together. You guys love to trade for superstars like Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal or Lavine but worried about getting a guy on his rookie contract because he is the same as our other rookies.
