I'd be ok with that.

Boston and New Orlrans trade picks.

"And with the third pick of the 2016 NBA draft, the New Orleans Pelicans select Jaylen Brown, Forward, California."

Agreed. That's a ridiculous trade.

Right about when it's make or break time for Anthony Davis you are allowing Boston to potentially swap picks? All to move up to grab I presume Dunn?

I like Dunn but not enough to mortgage our future in that way.

Well if the Pels really love Dunn then that's the only way they'll get him. Too much smoke that he'll go 3 or 5 at least

True I'd only do it if it's like 2020 or beyond.

That makes it even worse in some ways, because that's after Davis can leave (and if we don't improve, will leave). At that point, we would be #1 pick worthy.

I don't think we get Dunn rumors of Phz trying to trade Knight or Bledsoe and Wolves trying to trade Rubio.I'm starting to warm up to Brown I'm not too much of a fan of the other guard maybe Murray.

Good point didn't even think about davis.

6th and tyreke is probably our only way to move up and not kill us.

Yeah, if we "only" get Hield/Murray/Bender I think we can live with that. I'm much more interested in finding ways to get back into this draft. Take on a contract from Charlotte for #22, trade a lotto protected 2018 for #21. Solidify every position but starting SF and in a year you position yourself as a destination for a top wing looking for a ring.

The only issue I have with Brown is he's inability to dribble. I think he can work on his shooting but that's a red flag for me.

He's actually a above average Ball handler for a sf. He handle the ball a ton for Cal and a lot of time brought the the ball up court. With the report of how well Brown shot in work outs I feel ok about his shot. I think he a Drummond guy who game was made for the NBA and not good for college.

Odd offer, they just picked up a PG yesterday and they still have Exum. I wonder what pick they offered. I'm assuming it wasn't the 4.

If I'm the Jazz I think I take my chances with Hayward. You make the playoffs and you probably have a good shot at keeping him. If things are looking bad at the deadline then maybe you panic, but you still have probably a better than 50/50 shot of keeping him and no offer you get will make you better than keeping Hayward.

Hayward is about as adored in Utah and is as big a part of the community as Brees is in New Orleans, if that puts it in perspective. You literally can't go anywhere in Utah without seeing his face plastered somewhere. If they ever trade him, I would eat my own face. That's how sure I am it won't happen

Agreed. I don't know if I see him leaving Utah, really.

Philly getting the 3rd pick would suck. If they get Simmons and Dunn, they become a League Pass team

Numerous rivals describe Philly as the most active team in circulation ... with a trade involving Nerlens Noel looking more and more likely
