This year he lost his starting QB, best RB, best WR, best OL and best DB to the portal and is 6-2...

Yes you are right it was 11 I think. Still it’s the same timeline as most have mentioned. Tim Williams and crew started that year.

Episcopal has really not been recruiting like they did in mid 2010s. Once EHS started beating Uhigh in like 13' and 14' (it was not often) UHigh said F this and took it to a whole new level.

They took it so far that they had to go to 3A and have not played EHS since. Ruined a fun rivalry in all sports. Losers.

I'm sure creating culture will be difficult but it's not like this is their first time filling out the roster like this.

Also this is nothing like Texas 8&4. That was insane money for a bunch of 17/18 year olds with Jimbo as a head coach. OM is paying big but all these new guys have played a lot of football.

You have to gather as much talent as possible to win big. OM does not recruit HS as well. This is the best avenue for really good players.

Pretty important two months..

BUT all of the post is very much fair and true this year. Rebs are not a good baseball team.

Only nitpick would be that Jacob Gonzalez, despite this team being very bad, has been awesome. He's really really good.

I mean it is Ole Miss so you should never, ever assume anything but schedule sets up very favorably early. Kentucky will be no cakewalk by any means. But yes... both could very much be undefeated.

There is a great story about Urban Meyer calling in to Episcopal and saying Jimmy had committed when he hadn’t. His mom was so mad when she heard that she banned ND from ever coming back in. Urban a scum bag even in the odd days
