Just to verify what I think most expected - Daniels will wear #11 and Liddell #32.

So I couldn't watch but can't help but notice griff not in the picture. Was he there? Was it addressed if he wasn't? S

I do like how Griff is letting Trajan shine more. Trajan seems a lot more laid back these past couple of press conferences.

He's probably working the phones all day with Free Agency coming up.

I feel like Griff has really taken a step aside and let Trajan really run the organization more.

I feel like Griff may extend for a couple more years but I think he's developing Trajan to take on the full time mantle in the near future. Just my opinion. I like it.

I am willing to bet Griff called Jrue and asked if it was OK.

I know Jrue did a lot for the city and they helped him through a lot of personal stuff, but did they mention retiring it or something?

I mean I think his number will be retired one day.

I mean Jrue was a great representative and model citizen in his time here, but lets be honest, he's not worthy of retiring a jersey number over.

His first 3.5 years were plagued by injury and under performing the all star expectations we hoped. The second half was much better, but not so exceptional no one should ever wear that number again.

Not that it matters, but do they always hold Pelicans press conferences inside the Saints facility? You'd think they would have their own dedicated space in their facility, unless they were expecting a big crowd so they held it in a bigger area.

I actually never noticed that and it does sort of annoy me

The two facilities are at the same location and they share some spaces. Why would they need to go to another part of the Pelicans facility when they already have a large media room in the Saints portion of the facility?

Idk if I'd say that, but he's certainly letting Trajan handle more of the interviews, press conferences, media obligations, etc..

They don’t, but there’s a lot of things that each franchise has that are separate from each other. The only thing that they really share is a cafeteria and some office space. Like I said originally I’m pretty sure the Pelicans have their own space in their practice facility, but they decided to use the Saints larger space.

EDIT: Quick Google search reveals they do have a much smaller space in their practice facility, but they also do share a larger space with the Saints.

I don’t see anything on their twitter that suggest that.

I promise it was there, no reason to lie about that.
Here is the reddit post where a link to the tweet was posted for proof.
