Pels must not like the class next year bc they just traded their 22 pick - lottery protected
Yikes
Feels like a Demps move.
Over-valuing your own team and expectations so you let the other team fleece you based on your rose colored glasses.

Defense is a concern.
It’s not like our defense was worth a shite with Lonzo and Bledsoe out there (two supposedly good defenders). The teams defense will probably go as Zion and Ingram go.

Please tell me that's not confirmed. You have got to be fricking kidding?

Griff has pretty much decimated our spare warchest pieces and all we have to show for it is a solid but flawed Devonte Graham on nice deal and 1 year of Jonas lol.
Anyway, this is where we sit at the moment.Does anyone know how much cap space we have left, if we still have Hart’s rights, MLE, etc?
Graham/Sato/Kira
Naw/Temple
Ingram/Naji/Murphy
Zion/?/ Herb?
Jonas/ Hayes

I'm hoping another big move is coming (keeping my fingers crossed for Powell)
Graham off the bench at that contract is nice. Barely over the MLE.

You think they would match though? I mean Bulls weren’t scared of us matching apparently.
Well they worked out a deal. Everyone knew we weren’t though.

We got Satoransky and Temple for Ball and we give Charlotte a 1st for Graham? There’s gotta be more to the deal. Ball got twice as much money and we took on 10m a year PG to make it work. No way this is over
Griffin is getting butt-fricked all over the league. He has all but pissed away the war chest he got from trading Davis and Jrue.
Graham alone isn't melt worthy. He could be a decent addition, but Griffin is getting fleeced, and giving up more for Graham than he got for Ball is a very poor job.

Is he half as good as Lonzo since that’s what we are paying him?
Posted on 8/2/21 at 8:39 pm to Chad504boy
You guys are idiots. You act like we had a chance of keeping Lonzo. We lucky we got even a second from it. Graham could've easily stayed with Charlotte but we had to give up a first to Charlotte in order to pry him away. Also, we got him on a great deal and he can shoot the 3. One more thing from this is you don't throw $20-25 at dinwiddie and we still get same performance or better at PG. now we just sign some role players like Powell and Green to fill out roster with 3 pt shooting. It's a good situation for us.

I will take Sato/Graham over Lonzo or Dinwiddie. Sato is expiring and a good one year flyer in a weak as shite FA class.

Why didn’t we just sign him outright? Why give up a pick?
Posted on 8/2/21 at 8:40 pm to Fun Bunch
I keep reminding myself that Griff did draft Benett first, so he is a dumb frick

Thats fricking depressing
Considering all this cost us two firsts and a pick swap to get to.
We all thought the warchest was for a major move, turns out it was Griff's employment protection program.

This is almost 10 mil less per year for a guy who shoots about the same from 3 as Lonzo.
