almost!

I think you're looking at the 18-19 year salaries, it would work with the 19-20 year, unless I'm mistaken.

ETA: it would be very close with roster holds and such.

Right, but with the proposed trade, they would basically just have minimum holds on their roster outside of LeBron, Conley, and AD.

Davis also has a trade kicker of about $5m. Not sure about Conley.

Pretty sure Davis can waive it and almost certainly would if he's getting traded to the Lakers and it means them also getting Conley.

Right, but those could be waived. I don't think it's a likely scenario, so I'm not going to go through all of the trouble of determining if it's actually possible, but I think it would be close.

It affects his ability to get a new contract or extension if it gets waived. Depending on how soon he wants his money, that could be an issue.

no i think you're right.
after the new league year starts the lakers would have about 32MM in max cap space before any trade. conley could go into cap space and the outgoing salary covers davis

I don't think he cares as long as he's on the Lakers. Or that is what Rich Paul will sell him on.

Any other team I doubt he waives it, unless he has guarantees that Kyrie and KD will join him on the Knicks.

I've been on the send AD and Conley, but I'm starting to think I'd rather switch Conley for CP3...

LAL:AD,CP3
HOU: Kuzma, Hill, Moore
NOP: Ingram, Hart, Ball (to be flipped later), #4, 21 LAL 1st,22 LAL pick swap, 21 Houston 1st

Mostly because I would like to see Lebron and CP3 really burn that organization further to the ground when they are both gimping around the court trying up 80 mil in cap

like I said in the other thread talking with Lester, blood clots can form via a ton of different issues. If BI got a clot due to a structural issue, it is a better prognosis than if he got one due to other reasons (genetics, hormones, sedentary lifestyle, obesity). However even though it is a better prognosis, getting a blood as a young, healthy 21 year old kid is not ideal. Even if it is structural, there could be a reason why it's structural and other structural anomalies could present themselves.

there obviously is a chance (and I hope it is the case) that BI never gets another clot again, but no doctor will say he is 100% clear. and BI will always be at a higher risk of forming clots than other players, because the biggest risk factor for forming future blood clots is forming previous ones.

also lets separate Nelson from a doctor. Nelson is a great asset to the Pelicans, but if a player breaks a bone, gets a blood clot, tears a ligament, etc that player needs to see a doctor to get it fixed. Nelson can help rehab those things after they are fixed, but a doctor is still in charge of the recovery process, and sets limits to what a player can do and when that player can return to action. Nelson will not and should not ever "vet" a blood clot situation

Ingram is gravy for me. Play or don’t play and see if his health improves. Flip him for additional assets. I don’t care. If he comes back and is healthy, huge win. If not, in my scenario we have a ton of flexibility, we have Ja and Zion, and we have assets for the future with a ton of space to add a FA. That, too me, gives Griffin all of the ingredients to build a team that fits his vision.

There is zero logic with this post. The beat LAL because it was an emotional game. Fan were much more into it than usual, Lakers players weren't there mentally because they all thought they might be traded, etc.

Still doesn’t change that most of the players we are supposedly getting couldn’t win shite next to LeBron, the self proclaimed GOAT.

It implies they are subpar or have shitty chemistry. Either way, it doesn’t bode well to bring a ton of them over to our team.

They actually were winning shite, and had a really good record until lebron got hurt. They were 20-14. Then he was out for a month, came back and not long after that the trade stuff started happening. Season over.
