All the people saying good riddance to NAW are absolute retards. Learned absolutely nothing from Lonzo leaving, no appreciation for a 6’6 guard that can dish and defend
NAW may be the worst player in the NBA that gets 25+ mpg

The NAW that feeds 3 or 4 easy baskets to Jaxson a game. I dont think y’all watch the game, just look at the stat sheet to see how he shot from 3 that game. Clueless

huh? This doesn't seem like an all in move.
solid deal if the pick comp isn't high
It's "all in" b/c we won't be able to much much in terms of our "war chest" and we may even lose a lot of it in this deal
And if we have to rebuild, Zion/BI will net a ton but we're going 'all in" for a guy who won't have value in a year or 2
I don't think that we will be able to do much more. We have a TPE but I think we would go into tax territory if we used it all.

Anyone with a pulse could feed Hayes 3 easy baskets a game.
And you say that yet NAW averages under 3 assists a game lol.

Can't believe we not only got lead guard but also better depth with Nance and Snell. That's insane.

I think NAW will do very very well in Portland which will hurt me because I like NAW but damn he just couldn't get out of his own way in NOLA.
The thing with NAW in Portland is he will have much reduced loyalty going from a GM that traded back to draft him and practically pushed Ball out to increase his role, and will have to earn it behind Simons/Dame.
Both are great mentors, but NAW will have to sink or swim, no more gifted minutes and handed a high usage, high volume role. He plays like he does here and it will be a lot of DNP Coaches decision

The Pelicans are sending Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, Nickel Alexander-Walker, Didi Louzada, a future first-round pick and future second to the Blazers, sources tell ESPN.
Great deal

Okay good deal all things considered?

I've been one of the biggest supporters of NAW here until this year when it was obvious his basketball instincts are just not good and they aren't getting better. He's basically been to the Pels what Austin Rivers was to the Hornets. He might become a decent backup guard some day, but that will probably be 2-3 teams from now.

Are we to believe this is not a good deal?
CJ provides shooting...what is the number one need for this team?
