only way that works financially for everyone is if Nance goes to ATL, and Knox or someone else making over $4M from the Hawks goes to the Blazers.
That's the only way to keep both us and the Hawks under the tax, and to make the trade work b/c we have to let Nance go so that we use the TPE on Heurters $13M incoming salary (even though he only makes $4.2 this year).
although i guess there are other iterations to make this happen involving other players.

This season, the Pelicans' guards have combined for 21 20-point games, tied with the Pistons for the fewest in the NBA. CJ McCollum has 19 20-point games this season and is averaging 20+ points for the 7th straight season.

Yeah definitely going to be on the clock on that rehaul. Rumors in Portland that he wants out, preferably home in Cali or NY. Believe it or not there was a lot of reddit Blazers fans that wanted to move Dame now and build around CJ and another all-star. It seems like Dame has squashed these rumors for now, but I would expect Portland to be making more moves.

This is such a dumb take. People want a team full of 23 year olds I guess. He's 30, not 36. He makes you better right now and thats what we need with Zion. Another 20 year old that will take 3 years to make any difference is not what we need. Thats further off Zions timeline than a solid 30 year old.
