What evidence do you have that he isn’t soft, then?

At some point you need to be on the court if you are making 155+ million a year IF you can be.

You didnt have mental issues signing for all that money.

This current injury is by all accounts not serious and much less serious than Desmond Bane’s and yet he is still out.

You say that like it’s fact. Ridiculous.

Well, if it isn’t they need to be more clear. Bane’s injury was “graded” worse than BI’s.

By all accounts from teammates and the front office, he’s a locker room leader.

This is frustration leaking out, no question.

We shall see how this article ages.

I’m sure the front office or Brandon himself will respond.

If it's not, that's not our fault, that's the team's fault for not reporting correct information.

People can be frustrated with his injury and absence while also still supporting BI. I assume BI is also frustrated. These guys all seem to like each other. This article is bs.

How so? I'd wager they're going to continue to remain absolutely silent until he's just about to suit up.

ETA: I'd love to see someone from the media put pressure on them to respond during a press conference since they aren't interested in giving any injury updates willingly.

So if we don’t get good information from the team, then we should jump to conclusions that one of our players is too soft to play or doesn’t want to play. I’m not going to do that. You feel free.

You've moved the goalposts. You said it was "ridiculous" to take as fact that Bane's injury was worse than BI's, that's the reply that is being responded to.

We got information from the team, the injury the team has reported what the injury is, and that injury is a lesser injury than the Bane injury. That is really not up for dispute, that happened. And yet you still called it "ridiculous" for some odd reason.

It’s not by accident that Jen Hale mentioned how good he looked in shoot around today. And Joel talking about what a high character guy he was during the feature about BI writing a check to his HS.

When was it stated his injury was less serious than Bane’s? Now I realize the team of physicians here on Pels Talk has made that determination, but I don’t recall seeing that statement made by anyone in the know. Maybe you can show me where that was stated.

You can be high character and still not be tough.

Joel also made it a point to call out how Jval and I think Naji will do anything to get on the court and willingless to play through injuries.

If you have a bias, you can say that was a shot at BI...point being, if you have a bias you can find anything that serves as evidence, but it's also easy to find similar evidence to the contrary when it's pure speculation.

Bane suffered a grade 2 sprain, whereas the Pelicans have been calling BI's injury a contusion since it first happened. Go check today's injury report and you'll still see it. Whether or not it was something more, we as fans don't know because the team has said nothing.

Right, and no one is going to argue a toe contusion might be worse than a grade 2 toe sprain. Come on now, what are we doing here?
