Can you provide those quotes?

This was the last I saw him say two weeks ago

"Some days I feel really really good, and recovery is bad," Ingram said. "Some days, recovery is good. So whenever I feel 100 percent, I'll give it a go. But it's hard to say right now."

Which is unequivocally him NOT saying he is healed.

What in the world, how did I miss this. Didn't know he said that. Ok yea, long past time to lace them up.

Good Article. The Truth hurts sometimes.
Zion = BI = 3/4 of a season, if you are lucky. And people call AD soft ...

Lets wait for Fun to source that

The only thing I can find from two weeks ago is the quote I posted above, which is BI clearly saying he is NOT 100% physically healed.

Let’s just remember that Christian Clark is also the one that gave us the Piano Man before we all decide it’s time to trade Ingram.

To provide both sides, this is the story everyone said was completely made up and the idea of Griff playing an instrumen around the Bubble was absurd...then Zion confirmed that he indeed did carry a keyboard around the Bubble while learning to play.

Basically, I'd bet the truth is somewhere in between the Clark story and what the masses think. Something along those lines most likely happened. Just not like Clark said, and it's not nothing like many seem to think.

I've always given lower extremity injuries the eleway, those can be dragged out all season and even derail you if you push too hard.

See relative healthy guys like cp3, harden, etc.

Now hand injuries? Better tape it up and learn how to play like kobe.

Why don't you simply post the relevant info?

quote:

"Confidence in pushing off," Ingram said. "Confidence in being back to who I want to be. Trying to be explosive, trying to just be myself. That's the biggest thing. If I don't feel like myself, then I know it's not time to be on the floor."

He is unsure of exactly when he'll come back. The "trickiest thing," he said, is when he is "feeling like I'm ready, but I'm not quite ready." Pelicans coach Willie Green told reporters that it has been "a slow process" for Ingram, and that "it's been tough on him."

"Some days I feel really really good, and recovery is bad," Ingram said. "Some days, recovery is good. So whenever I feel 100 percent, I'll give it a go. But it's hard to say right now."

Green said that the team is "hopeful to get him back sometime soon," but the main priority is "to get him back healthy" and avoid setbacks, as the big-picture goal is to build toward being as competitive as possible in the playoffs.

"It's pretty tough because I want to be on the court," Ingram said. "Especially with our team success that we've been having lately, I want to be a part of it."

Turf toe injuries have ended careers. Is this what we are going to do every time someone on our team gets injured? Act like he’s soft and/or faking it? We just went through this with Zion, as if he wasn’t seriously hurt and as if he didn’t come back better than ever.

Is it truly the opinion of some here that BI can play and is choosing not to? Is that really what you think? Say it directly.

100%, yes.

If this were the playoffs, you think he would not be playing right now because he's just not "confident?"
Not because he's still injured or there is still pain, but solely due to not being confident

Well, according to the reports the organization and his teammates are getting frustrated with him missing more time than necessary, so...

Yes he is choosing not to. The medical and training staff has cleared him as of 2 weeks ago to practice, yet he’s still choosing to sit out of practice due to “confidence”.

This reeks of a Ben Simmons/Kawhi type situation and personally I’m not ok with it and from what it’s starting to sound like his teammates and the organization is not ok with it.

If you were serious about wanting to be out there you could at least give it a go in practice.

have to agree with bronc here.
people are frustrated no doubt and for good reason but they are frustrated because BI is awesome not because he’s soft

The comparison to Simmons/Kawhi is wayyyyyyyyy over the top but the truth is likely somewhere in the middle of the worst thinking and the thinking that everything is 100% fine with both the BI and Zion stories.

I think those are horrible comparisons. BI almost lost basketball with the blood clotting issue. I think that's part of why he immediately signed a deal with no options, he was just happy to be having fun playing basketball again.

This also happened to Derrick Rose, although he did truly suffer a traumatic injury, that's probably a more comparable situation to where he wasn't ready after doctor's said he was. If it's in his head and he won't get over it until he does it enough to get over it, the answer is probably Willie, CJ or Zion are going to need to push him and call him up.
