Welcome to being a fan of New Orleans sports teams.

Injries will always be frustrating with subpar medical staffs.

Let’s just remember that Christian Clark is also the one that gave us the Piano Man before we all decide it’s time to trade Ingram.

Not giving that article a click

everything I have seen and heard from BI makes me think he is a fierce competitor who wants to be on the floor

Came to say this

Sorry, but unless Andrew Lopez or some other credible insider without the sort of dark marks Clark has on his resume with this team validates this, this so-called “reporting” should come with a pallet of salt

subpar medical staffs.

Pelicans have one of the best staffs in the NBA.

Also, BI has been cleared by the medical staff to practice for 2 weeks now, he’s the one choosing to sit out right now.

Very odd. If there's no structural damage then wtf?

I still don't get the concussion earlier this year. I'm not sure how that's even possible. I've never seen something that soft be a concussion in 30 years of watching sports.

To be fair, Naji is the self proclaimed toughest mother fricker on the planet. He doesn’t do things softly.

I'm frustrated too, but we've also seen multiple times when BI came back from injury and played like total crap for a while, until he got comfortable.

If, instead of that, BI is just sitting out the extra time that he would normally play poorly while he gets comfortable, then I don't have a problem with it. Still needs to be soon, though.

Good article. He is not wrong.

BI misses too many games with minor injuries.

This current injury is by all accounts not serious and much less serious than Desmond Bane’s and yet he is still out.

If this was NyC or LA the level of criticism he would be getting would be nuclear.

Being injury prone is not the same thing as being soft

Unless Clark is misrepresenting context and getting bad sources again....then using that to imply BI's injuries are more a personal failing as opposed to things out of his control

I think BI clearly doesnt like to play unless he is absolutely 100%. The medical team clearing him may mean BI still only feels 80%-90%. I think the FO is a little annoyed and they arent totally wrong to feel that way. Bottom line though is players like BI dont come to nola so deal with shite like this and keep him as long as you can.

If these claims were ever substantiated, I missed them.

He's missed 2 months because a teammate tickled his nose and then his shoe got scuffed. Dude wants to be a bitch on the sidelines cause Zion gets more attention apparently.

We don't know any of this to be true though

And the last week or so is starting to feel a lot like the insane Zion catastrophizing of 2021 Redux, including a Christian Clark hit-piece with vague, questionable sources

Where people are filling in the gaps in knowledge, or taking every inflection point and filtering it through a negative interpretation toward the player and then stacking them on top of one another.

We do know he routinely misses substantially more time than the average for any injury.

We do know more than two weeks ago he admitted that he’s healed and it’s mental.

Missing two weeks and counting because of the mental aspect of a toe injury = soft as absolute frick
