How does someone grow 2 inches at age 25?!? Crazy good if true.

He does look like he's added a ton of weight. It a night and day difference from his first couple years here

The growing two inches part is super questionable (to say the least). I do not believe that.

He does look like he added some muscle though

We are now hitting the point in the off-season where Ingram has put on weight, Zion is in the best shape of his life, and we all start to get our hopes up again.

He's standing probably 2 feet in front of Barnes, so even if they were the same height, he'd look taller.
I'll reserve judgement if he looks thicker when he's not wearing a big shirt, and rather a jersey.

I seriously doubt he weighs anywhere near 235.
He was 190 last year, unless that is not an accurate weight there's no way he put on close to 45lbs. If he was anywhere near 235, then he'd be playing the 4/5.
I could definitely see him being near 215lb, maybe, but he'll probably lose it during the season and get back to around 200.
Barnes weighs more b/c of his legs. BI has bird legs. He's got the shoulders to put some bulk up there, but his legs and arse will always hold him back a bit.
Kawhi is 6'7" 225. Paul George is 6'8" 220. BI is not bigger than them.

I do like the rumor about being the captain of the USA team.

Yeah, if anything it has to be a comparison to several years ago, not that he's been hitting the HGH hard this summer. BI was noticeably better last year switching onto bigs on defense and grabbing rebounds. If he's gotten even stronger that's fantastic news.

Switching to Jordan Brand would be good too. Zion and BI bonding in Europe every summer can't hurt.

I have learned to reserve any hope for this team until after the all star break, and I’m even wondering if that may be premature lol

Right

I'm having trouble figuring out which one is less believable between growing 2 inches and weighing 235 lbs.

I'm sure BI is putting on some weight, but instead of just stating that and we can focus on that, the original report has to take out way out of proportion then we lose sight of the good part of this.

What’s more likely? That Harrison Barnes has had exaggerated height listings or is simply bending his knees slightly?

OR that a 25 yr old man had a random growth spurt?

Barnes isn't squared or standing up straight. It's hard to guage height from photos. Things like distortion and angles can play a role in these things. I don't think BI actually looks as wide as he does he in this photo.

It is not extremely extremely unlikely. Such growth spurts have happened in people but its usually do to some condition.

I’ve been know to grow 2 inches in front of the right lady. That’s basically 100% growth.

BI looks massive. Hopefully that helps him in the injury department.

Lol these “rumors” are all good but I’m laughing at the rumor of him growing 2 inches. No not at all, Harrison Barnes is 6’6 not 6’8.
