The 12-man #USABMNT roster for the 2023 @FIBAWC Aug. 25-Sept. 10!

BI might be the biggest name on the team. Hopefully a summer grind will toughen him up for the season.

Here's a daily reminder that Cam Johnson is older than Ingram.

That’s a really solid looking team. Lots of young guys who will be hungry. They also have some great defense on the squad.

I’m sure JJJ would do wonders with our medical staff

Its an interesting mix of players. I would guess the stars are Edwards and Banchero (former #1s). Would be some interesting battles on who starts in between Brunson and Haliburton, plus Ingram and Bridges. I would guess that they will alternate depending on who we play..

I’m hoping starters are
Brunson
Bridges
Edwards
Ingram
Jackson

With reserves
Halliburton
Reaves
Hart
Banchero/Johnson
Kessler /Portis

I think that’s the lineup! Or maybe have Cam Johnson in the starting lineup instead of Ant Man (who can be that instant scorer off the bench like Wade was) in order to have that stretch 4 role that Melo was. He’s not as big nor physical as Melo was tho. Looking back on it, Melo used to be a cheat code for team USA.

This isn't the Olympics. We (the U.S.) don't take the World Cup as seriously.

It always felt like team USA Melo was the best basketball player in the history of the game

This is a very solid team for a non Olympic tournament.

Anthony Edwards
Tyrese Halliburton
Brandon Ingram
JJJ
Mikal Bridges
Banchero

These guys could all be on the Olympic roster

Ahhh shite, thought this was the Summer League thread

ESPN has a contract with FIBA to air the games this year, they will either be on ESPN 2 or ESPN +
