We saw it in a thread a few days ago.

IF you want a generational talent, things will get more and more pricy.

They had no business hiking up prices the way they did. Gradual increases, sure, but some of the percentage increases that are out there are insane.

If we meet expectations next season and have a sure fire playoff squad, what kind of price hike will we see then?

It seems to me they're betting on future returns, not the smartest business model, but that's the play.

Are you expecting a gradual increase in success next year? Even as tough as the West is, would anybody be really happy with start of season expectations being a playoff bubble team again? Or do you expect a fully healthy Pels team be in the middle tier of playoff teams with the Dallases and Utahs?

That depends on who’s next to Zion at center.

But if Favors or a Favors adequate replacement is there, I expect a 45 win team with the roster we have now. Healthy of course.

*45 as a floor.

It seems like the huge % increases are in seats that were substantially underpriced relative to the rest of the league (sub-$500 tickets).

Mine had a minimal increase.

Getting rid of the Beer Garden is a huge mistake

Exactly — the driveSEATS (Row 1 upper baseline) went up $140 total. The only people bitching and moaning are the Peltards who GOT comfortable paying more for a beer than their seat and think that’s the going rate in 2020 to watch one of the best young up and coming teams in The NBA

Yep, the people complaining the most were paying $350 per ticket and they're now $610. Went from $8 to $14.50 per game. Still under $15 per game to see this team play!!!

Zion is already a top 20 player in the league and he hasn't even learned how to play basketball yet.

Why are they killing the beer garden? I don't get it.

That does make sense IMO.

We're all expecting to be much improved next season, not sure why so many are expecting to see that product at a reduced rate of a non-playoff team.

I'd say it's more from the polls they've sent out over the last 2 yrs. If the beers were able to be redeemed inside if you couldn't make it by 30mins to tip off then they would still have it. I rarely get there in time to get beers so I'd rather a perk somewhere else, like the team store.

Look at how Zion sold out Summer League. He’s a bandwagon unto himself. STH often help pay for their tickets by selling a few games to life long bandwagon fans from the West Bank. Now every game is like a Lakers game, except this time the bandwagon fans are there to see Zion.

This. Don't personally care about the beer garden because I never make it to the games 45+ minutes before tip off.

That’s very fair, in my opinion the Beer Garden is a fan cultivating project. You get a light “tailgate” experience that isn’t common in basketball, but the norm in Louisiana. Plus it’s great promotion for Dixie, and allows conformable setting for those who do get there early.

But now you really have neither (although they will try and convince you that you do). They give you more concession/store gift card balance but take away the season ticket holder discounts. The net is likely a loss in benefits for most.

Beer Garden was originally designed as a way to get some ticket holders to get to the games earlier in order to attempt to alleviate some of the traffic bottle neck right before gametime.
