Saw Trey Murphy at the airport last night around 1am. Dude was just your average Joe except a foot taller than most everyone else.

Garrett is good people.

Marcus Thornton is ok, real chill dude. Didn't hesitate to trash Monty though when I talked to him (he wasn't on the team anymore when I did speak with him)

Niko Mirotic is super down to earth and nice as shite. Salt of the earth type dude.

Played pick up against Garrett Temple at LSU rec center in 06. Nice guy. Freakishly athletic compared to regular guys playing. He didn't make anyone look foolish, just drained every shot.

It’s amazing to see in warm ups every guy on the team make every shot and drain every shot that doesn’t even touch the rim. It shows how good everyone is. Even the guys at the end of the roster.

After getting trashed by fans, Brian Scallabrini held an open gym and challenged anyone who wanted to play him 1 on 1. He dominated every single person.

If you can make an NBA roster, you are elite. People seem to forget that somehow.

I yelled out assistant coach Brian Gates name after a Pistons game in Detroit. He gave me the stank eye then gave me a high five. Only true pel fans know about Brian Gates lol

Temp and I are fraternity brothers. Shared a couple of cool moments with him during college.

Former Pels:

A previous employment stop of mine served as the off-season training spot for AD, Tyreke, Jrue (sometimes), and Lance Thomas. Got in pretty close with a lot of them and their inner circles. Had the opportunity to coach some training sessions for them too. Great expeirence overall. Played AD in 1-on-1 a couple times. He's tall. And NBA players really like tequila.

This is prob pretty well known, but lance Thomas runs a fishing charter out of Venice. He got really into fishing while he played here.

Jj was pretty widely out and around town while he was here. Friendly guy unsurprisingly.

Well I don't think he ever left the floor. I'm 5'7. So he just stood in front of me with his hands straight up. I literally couldn't see the basket lol.

No current pels. My sister lived next door to NAW, kept all the shoes he had delivered during the bubble for him. I know Lance Thomas a bit, good guy, has a camp in pecan island, loves fishing. Also randomly saw David Wesley at some bar in quarter during the AD trade situation, he seems like a really good dude, but I only talked with him for like 5 minutes
