Are you saying he didn’t try to get away from Durant and went over towards Green? Then Durant followed him over to continue the agitation. You know when Durant is also on offense and trying to get up on Cousins.

Come on now. the game was over and durant and drammond set boogie up he is getting all these tees late. its on film and there coached up to take advantage of his emotions. the refs had a quick trigger on him and they knew it. Take one for the team. he wont care till he hits 10. maybe next week.

If you want to say he doesn't get back on defense then fine, that's true but that's hardly the problem with this team.

Actually that's one of the most glaring problems with this team. Our transition defense is awful, often because we're playing 4 on 5 waiting for Boogie to get back.

The turnovers tonight were terrible, but Cousins had little to do with the Warriors shooing 13/21 3s in the second half.

Uh yes he did. The Warriors got most of their open threes by having Cousins' man set the screen, knowing Boogie wouldn't step out to the perimeter.

I really don't understand the excuse making for this guy.

You accusing someone else of box score gawking is about as rich as the Rams/Eagles being c on z’s new favorite football teams.

If I could go back, I'd take buddy heild and the draft pick any day of the week.

And, for the most part, it doesn't even have to do with his attitude. His style of play is highly inefficient.

You obviously have not kept up with Buddy's stint in Sac town.

The transition defense was awful, but players complaining to refs about no calls is a league problem. Specifically to Boogie, his problem is that he's slower than Curry, Paul, and the others that are habitual complainers. His complaining is on par with David West circa 2008 and that team did fine. Of course Boogie needs to get back, but the whole team struggles with transition defense even when Boogie's out.

This one is partly on Gentry being terrible making adjustments, but is mostly good coaching by the Warriors. If you force Boogie out to the three point line all sorts of bad things can happen, namely Curry and Klay cutting the lane, Durant having easier one on ones, and Green having one less challenger for rebounds. It puts Boogie between a rock and a hard place, but it's not like any other team has figured out how to consistently slow down the Warriors.

I'll repeat what I posted in another thread earlier this morning.

I don’t follow much basketball lately, but went to the game last night. Is DC always such a whiny bitch? Grown arse man pouting like a baby over referee calls. A couple times he was still down at the other end of the court shaking his head and throwing his arms up in the air while the rest of the team was playing ball. Constantly in the referees faces questioning their calls. I have never posted in the Pelicans Talk before and his shitty arse attitude/behavior is what brought me here.

I've been watching pretty regularly, and I don't think he goes overboard, especially compared to some others

I see Cam Newton in him every time I watch him play. Extremely talented but a cocky and negative attitude when things aren't going his way.

He walked away from Durant starting shite and Green spent the whole game starting shite. The refs did nothing about it and then punished him by being associated with it.
Probably the most confusing thing going in the NBA right now is how Boogie can pick up a technical so easily but Draymond literally gets away with more yelling at officials than anyone in the league.

Ill admit that was bullshite. But Ill say it straight, these refs are human and the way he antagonizes them the whole game will cause them to overreact
Draymond goes about 10 times harder on the refs than Boogie, and 10x is probably being generous.

AD or Boogie?

Can't tell which one, to be honest.

And is routinely at the top of the list of technical foulers in the NBA

I mean his flagrant fouls and suspension essentially led to GS losing to CLE in the finals

The dude is a target for referees bc like cousins they are constantly whining, grimacing, instigating other players. Let’s call a spade a spade

Cousins said after Tuesday's practice that he tries to avoid being confrontational when teams push his buttons, but he'll have to do a better job going forward.

"It sucks it happened," Cousins said. "I try to go out my way to do things the right way and I felt most of it was instigated from the other end. But they felt like we both were in the wrong. It is what it is."

..."I've just got to keep doing what I'm trying to do, which is the right thing on a nightly basis," Cousins said. "I see altercations come my way, I try to go the opposite way from it. I know I have a reputation in this league and I know I'll never get the benefit of the doubt, so I've just got to keep trying to do the right thing."

Unfortunately, that all sounds good, but the actions speak for themselves. He simply cannot control his temper when his buttons are pushed and other players know it.

I'm calling it as I see it, Draymond Green is much, much worse than Boogie or any player in the NBA and gets away with wayyyyyyy more than Boogie or any other player in the NBA.

The fact that Draymond gets so many techs does not mean he doesn't get away with a shite ton more.

Do you see the guy's body language? He is just asking for people to start shite with him. I know that's who he is, but at the end of the day, is that really the guy you want on your team? His dumb technicals and complaining to the refs is plain silly imo. Not to mention he has been a turnover machine for this team this year. He is also either really good on defense or absolutely garbage. That inconsistency is not something we should want. Either you put the effort into playing defense or you don't.
