DSJ is the Randle version of guards.. I'd much rather Frank, good with potential of great defender (especially with Jrue teaching him), just like Jrue he can guard the 1-3, hes a decent passer, and hes still only 20 with ALOT of room to grow

Why in the world would you entertain the idea of giving AD to Knicks now and automatically moving down 3 spots in the draft?

The Knicks offer pivots around whoever the Pelicans have as the best player in the draft. Without that, the offer is garbage. There's literally nothing in the Knicks offer that you would ever gamble on. You think Knox is going to turn into something? I'll bet any of you any amount of money that Knox never makes an all-star game. He didn't even crack the rising stars roster for all-star weekend, and now he's supposed to be some sort of valuable asset that can be included in a package for a Hall of Fame 25-year-old MVP caliber big man?

Knox doesn't even average 1 assist per game. Can't get one? Y'all need to stop fricking around.

I’d like Big Mitch added to any deal

Knox, Frank, Kanter, 2019 unprotected 1st, 2021 NYK 1st and the 2 Dallas picks would be overpaying

Is it? We would be gambling on the Knicks' ping pong balls coming up for #1 as the rest of the assets are mediocre at best.

Isn’t he the youngest player in the NBA?

Depends on where the Knicks pick actually lands.. Right now with that deal we could possibly have the #1 pick and 3 other 1sts, if we wait until after the lottery and Knicks get the #1 pick, we would probably have an offer of the #1, Thomas, Frank N, Knox and one of the Dallas picks (maybe squeeze both), which would still be a good haul

Absolutely. He is all in on what Rich Paul and Lebron are feeding him. Of course it is Ramona that comes out with ADs dad's quote, a clear plant by the Lakers, Rich Paul, AD, etc.

They are doing everything to force our hand, and sabotage the competition. I really hope they stick to their guns and do not fold.

I think for 2 reasons

- you push Boston's hand to commit to a deal this summer. Let's face, if we go into the summer without a deal, we lose leverage.

- hitting on the end of the first point, I think people are finally realize the closer it gets to summer, the less leverage we have, the worse each package potentially gets.

To max out on an AD package this summer, a lot of shite has to happen that is not in the Pelicans control. Its a gamble for sure

Two young prospects and 4 first round picks is a ton for one player. It would be cool to clear Hill if possible too, but I doubt it.

I think it possible. They can play him rest of season and then stretch in offseason

1. I'm not disagreeing with pushing Boston to commit. That's definite.

2. The Knicks would be idiots to not do a deal whether it's now, later, or a year from now. We're taking their 'last place in the entire NBA' assets in exchange for a hall of famer.

3. Even in a world where the Knicks suddenly don't want to be relevant again and want to play hardball with Demps, what are we talking about? Them taking what off the table? Some non-lottery 1st rounder off the table? AD in the east is in the playoffs guaranteed.

All that plus pick swap options. I get that offer from New York, give Ainge a shot to beat it and if he can't promise me something that beats it, I take it on Feb 7th

Not sure I like that at all without knowing where that NYK pick will land. Even if NYK has the best lottery odds, there's still a 48% chance they're picking exactly 5th.

Sending AD to NYK now obviously makes them better the rest of this season.

They're only 1 game behind being the 4th worst team. The difference between 4th worst and worst seems pretty sizable.

If they finish 4th worst, there's I believe a 45% chance that pick will be between 6 and 8.

Way too much risk IMO.

You've told us all along the haul coming back from BOS will be pretty hefty. Not sure how NYK's pick can outdo them if it's not even top 5, right?

You're also hoping NY doesn't land another big fish in the offseason (entirely possible) to put with AD and he walks the next offseason, and every pick you've acquired is probably top 5...

Would it happen? Maybe not, but there is a 50/50 chance guys like Durant and Kyrie shun the Knicks to stay where they are or in the case of Kyrie go running back to Lebron

Watching this Boston-Knicks game and honestly Knox isn’t impressive at all. He is doing nothing on the floor.

Boston is more of what I want because I really want Tatum.

Glad some of the media realize this is becoming unreal

If it doesn't stop, GB should make a public statement that we keeping little tony and we will utilize his talents all next year for 48 minutes a game on the court.

Doesn’t help that the Knicks run zero semblance of an offense

Frank is such a bad player. Like he will contribute 0 for this team.
