LeBron's PER and WS/48 have stayed in roughly the same range, certainly not the decline RAPTOR is showing.
I just realized why this is. LeBron's PER stayed high because he wanted to win the scoring title, and so he shot more often.
LeBron FGA per 36 minutes went up from 19.7 a year ago to 21.1 last season. Because he wanted to win the scoring title, and also because the rest of his team sucked, he shot the ball more often last season.

Do pelican fans know this much about their own team?
I'm mind blown at some of the breakdowns within the past 24 hours......
Giving plenty to talk about...

You call yourself a "pels fan first" but are only in this thread and have nothing to contribute as far as actual discussion regarding the pels in other threads.
The only thing you're contributing is derailing and low effort trolling.

Westbrook as an expiring is still valuable. Obviously, 50mil is a lot of salary to match. But not impossible
There is very little value to a single expiring contract that large. It requires a potential trade partner to send out so much salary, that it will likely include players that team wants to keep, so it has no use for salary dumping. The Lakers also have very limited assets that they can use to entice another team to give them useful players for an expiring contract.
My Pels-fan obsession with the Lakers makes it glorious to watch. The fact that their failures directly benefit the Pelicans for the next 3-4 years is the cherry on top.

nah.... no need to troll, just think as pels fans the amount of energy put into a franchise like the lakers is almost wasted. would rather put into the actual team....
but i get it, "its all about the draft picks"... but would rather not forecast what a team that is known for derailing their future for WIN NOW and try to predict was superstars who are injured or not injured do..
A franchise like the Pels are building with their youth... the Lakers will not do that. Just how that franchise has been and will always be.

Title of this thread is purely Lakers though, so chopping it up about the Lakers and not Pels as much yes...
I think both teams are playoff teams next year if that helps any...

So much energy spent laughing at a team who tried to undermine our franchise, instead undermining their own to our great benefit! Guilty as charged.

We have a billion other threads to talk about the pels and just one thread about the Lakers
If there was another franchise that owes us picks like the Lakers do they would get a season long thread too. In fact the wolves had a season long thread on here back in 2011/12.

I can multitask and do both. It doesnt have to be one or the other. I have plenty of room for joy with the pels and absolute hatred of the Lakers organization and their fans.

Given that the Lakers are our surrogate for the lottery this season, it only makes sense that we are following them. If you don't get that, I'm not sure what to tell you

Can’t wait until Sacramento drafts Bronny and LeBron has to take his talents to Arco Arena.
Bronny is falling down rankings at this point. Lebron may have to play in the G-league if he wants to play with Bronny.

bronny can’t be drafted until 2024 (two full seasons from now). Lebron might be a D-leaguer by then LOL

James would get a minimum contract until he dies by a vast majority of the league. If Jordan came out of retirement, I'm sure a bunch of teams would give him a contract just to sell tickets. It would be embarrassing for Jordan. But people would pay to see it.
What will be interesting is that James will be a part of one of the new expansion ownership groups. He can't play and own a team. But I think his shares can be held in trust (like Magic). I don't think Vegas will have their team that quick though. But he could star for the expansion team it's first year, as part of his investment..

One thing is for sure, he won’t be playing center for the Warriors, Looney will.

No, not at all. We petitioned to have the board name changed to frick the lakers because we don’t follow a team, we just want to frick the lakers.
Are you this fricking stupid? The lakers sucking arse directly benefits our team. Of course we are invested in them sucking.

He’s just extremely butthurt. It’s pretty sad.
