This year's city edition uniforms and theme is the best thing the organization has put out in the last 10 years. It's really unfortunate that the players don't seem to perform at a level fitting such a cool idea.

Ditto. So many want to make something out of the fact that we haven't gone into the tax the last few seasons, but there was no real need to do so. This coming offseason is the one that I have circled as the one that we will have to decide to make a real commitment and be a tax team, or I'll likely join the other side of the ledger.

How? How are we in the second play-in game, and this is the first time they've done this? Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but it feels like they should have shootarounds in the SKC on quite a frequent candence.

The sad thing is BI could be it if only he would commit to the three. The few times this season he has made a point to get more threes up, he's looked good and the team had way more spacing. He just wants to force the mid-range, to his and the team's detriment most of the time.

We've done Mardi Gras countless years. It was okay for them to take a break and give us what is probably the best team identity and color scheme they've ever given us. I'm okay with the Mardi Gras theme coming back, but I'm going to be sad if the Skelican theme is one season only.

I'm pretty sure something like a court design takes longer than a couple of months to plan, so I think this was probably in the plans before the season began. Either way, I love it. Can't wait to see what they come up with when they don't have to be locked into the "two-tone" court designs of the IST.

Agree 100%. Are there opportunities to make it better? Sure. These are tight, though, and I applaud them for trying something different.

I love the bones in the shorts Pelicans logo. If they were to make a t-shirt with these colors and logo, I'd be all over that.
