Austin Reaves might be their third best player
Reaves is genuinely good. For as much grief as we give Pelinka, getting Reaves in the 2nd round last year was a huge win.

man, Blazers had a nice lead and their backups let the Lakers back in. Tied now at 44.

No dame or Hart. Probably was a bit much to expect a W tonight

Blazers also on a back to back after a tough loss last night to the clippers . Another scheduling favor for the lakers tonight

How many times are Lakers going to get teams on the 2nd end of a back to back. It seems they have an absurd number of these for them so far.

The league did everything it could to keep LA relevant with a hot start. The schedule is about to turn for them, don’t worry.

The Lakers are waiving wing shooter Matt Ryan, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium . Ryan impressed in stint with L.A., shooting 38.2 percent from 3, including a clutch shot in win over Pelicans in November. The move opens up a roster spot for Lakers ahead of Dec. 15 trade date.

They must be certain that they are making a trade.

Literally had this thought the other day and tried researching. I party was interested in how teams ALWAYS played the clips the first night and the lakers the second night. NBA really tried to get them off to a hot start

Must be clearing the spot for someone, either trade or free agent, right?

I think they are keeping flexible on that both roster wise and cap wise.
Wasn’t Ryan’s contract only partially guaranteed?

quote:Makes it sound as if they have a deal in the works. Hope is not a 2 for 1 such as Turner and Hield for Westbrook and picks.

Pacers are 4th in the east and show no signs of slowing down. They’re not blowing that team up anytime soon unless it goes downhill.
My thoughts would be Hornets for Rozier and Hayward, which I would hate because that makes them wayyy better if Gordon could stay healthy once he comes back.
