Lakers going down to that 11th seed baw.

Pels/Kings play in, Pels win game 1 lose game 2, pick 14 goes to Blazers, Pels keep Lakers pick, Charlotte gets 2 2nds, Memphis gets 2nds, we have all our draft capital moving forward, make a big trade to round out roster, WCF in 2023.

Shooting my shot.

Hali is only 21 years old, he's 6-5, shooting 41% from 3 and averaging 7.4 ast a game on a shitty Kings squad.

Dudes legit.

Wouldn’t be to us, unless we are moving Graham and Nance.

I kind of agree.

Are we sure Haliburton is ever a multi time all star like Sabonis already is? Im not sure.

Could argue that he plays a more important position than Sabonis though.

Is he good? For sure.

Was he a steal where drafted? Yes.

Is he some projectable elite guy? Not even close.

I just don't see this leap everyone is predicting. You'd think it would have happened this year. Maybe in Indy he will.

Some people treat Haliburton like he's a franchise centerpiece and he looks more like a guy likely to be a 3rd/4th guy on a title team. There's nothing wrong with that but it's nowhere close to how people talk about him.

While I could care less about Bill Simmons, this is the media machine in action...

Stephen A Smith, now Simmons, and soon most of the ESPN after-work crew will be shitting all over this trade because it sends poor ole good guy McCollum to the shitty Pels (and also cools the jets on Zion bolting for NY because he 'has no help')

We have no idea if CJ is excited or not, but safe bet that nobody around him is congratulating him....

17 assists in a game last week.
poised.
can get his shot 3 levels.

you missed all that?

hes fragile. thats the only downside. missed many games at iowa state. missed games last season.

but his game when fit is great.

We don’t have an actual account, but we can do some deductive reasoning.

BI and Jonas are legit pieces to make CJs life much easier than it has been. He doesn’t have Dame, who commands a lot of attention, but he’s been playing without Dame for a while.

Add in a coach that is truly in tune with our roster and the NBA as a whole, and I can’t imagine that he’s terribly upset about the move.

Oh and if Gumbo extra rice gets healthy, this now becomes a very very strong starting 5 with good bench depth.

Yep. Stephen A is “disgusted” he knows the Pelicans aren’t doing anything. Poor CJ McCollum. JJ redick just agreed and said he’d have rather seen him go the the 76ers. Zion already has one foot out the door. Pelicans need to be thinking about what they can get for Zion in a trade. Etc etc

Who knew trading for a good player would get such negative press lol.

In the same 2 minute rant, Stephen A:

-Feels bad for CJ going to a poor organization
-Feels bad for Zion being somewhere he doesn’t want to be
-Feels bad for Willie Green who he’s very high on

So transparent at this point lol. The organization is surrounding a good coach with good players and it’s all negative.
