We trade for Bertans and then turn around and S&T Hart for Buddy. Just go all in on scoring 300 points and bad contracts

Bertans does have 4 years left at $16M/yr, but the last year is only guaranteed for $5M.

Money will be a key factor for Jackson, especially given the #Clippers don’t have much left. But, it’s no secret he likes the organization and enjoyed his role. One sleeper team to consider is New Orleans. Trajan Langdon likes Jackson.

Probably using us to squeeze what he can from the Clip show.

But I could see Reggie Jackson being our Plan F

Not sure what teams would be involved in the Wizards/Nets trade, but I do know that the Thunder will wind up with at least two first round picks from it, regardless of if they are included in the trade or not.

This free agency period has been so disappointing so far that if we signed Reggie for 3 yr 50 mil, the majority of the board, including myself with explode into tears of happiness and gratitude.

MR JUNE, COME ON DOWN MR JUNE.

Ima be disappointed if we don’t get a guard. AYO and Butler were sitting there at 35. We got Herb instead and he’s probably our 5th string wing right now regardless of if we like him or not. I brushed it off in the moment because I thought we might get Lowry and resign Zo. Or trade for Brogdon and pick up Norm. Or something…But I’m starting to worry that our 3 guard rotation is going to be Kira, Devonte, and NAW. Not a single one of them can get to the rim and finish. 2 are undersized. 2 are inconsistent with their outside shot. I like all of them, but we need 1 more complementary guard piece to round them out.

The way things have played out we should’ve just said frick you Lonzo, and matched him. See how he fit in with an updated roster with Murphy, Jonas and Devonte. Then dealt at the deadline if we needed to.

Not a fan of Jackson, or anyone that has a good performance for one month

They are often referred to as “fake picks”. It’s not getting conveyed.

Because the NBA has rules that both teams have to receive something of value in a trade, this is what teams do when they just want to give away a player. They trade a second with some weird protection that is almost impossible to convey.

Its still money and a roster spot and they were already considered to be a team needing to dump salary.

Random thought of the day but why didn't SVG try to work with Griffin last season to surround Zion with shooters like he did with Dwight in Orlando? That Magic team had Ryan Anderson, JJ Reddick, Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, Jameer ..who all shot around 40% from 3.

He's a cheap replacement for an outgoing player.
