Favors?
Or big. I believe Whiteside is on a minimum too, so you cut about $7 million plus taxes going from Favors to Paschall/Whiteside.

It wasn’t just one month baw.
Also earned a 5/$80M contract 5 years ago before he could shoot. It’s not like Reggie Jackson is some random UDFA that exploded in the playoffs.

Did the nets really request Deni Advija and future 1/2 round picks from the Wizards for Dinwiddle? Wtf. Haha

I'll take Bertans if it means getting Deni

That’s the report, but the Nets have the Wiz in a bind. The Wiz need to bring in a big name for Beal. They need the Nets to accomplish that. They will get a decent return for a S&T.

Per Billy Reinhardt, Nets reporter:

Wizards moving heaven & earth to try and acquire Spencer Dinwiddie — potentially giving up prime assets like Deni Avdija — just proves how desperate they are to please Bradley Beal & keep him in Washington. Brooklyn can capitalize off that desperation.
Sounds like what teams are doing to us

Gotta love the apparent collusion that is taking place here to actively frick teams that are in desperate situations

Insane because if anything the Bulls would be the desperate ones since we could've just matched their offer for Lonzo. Griffin really misplayed it...just no way around it.

Now it's...the Nets have the Wizards in a corner to get a little extra in their S&T.
The Bulls really wanted Lonzo and given their other signings, a quick S&T was the only way to get this done, so why didn't we have the leverage there. The answer has always been we weren't going to match on Zo, but Dinwiddie isn't going back to NJ and yet they still have leverage.
I still don't think Chicago would have undone their entire offseason plan and obvious real want for Zo if we demanded a 1st. I just struggle to think they woulda called the entire thing off over it, but who knows.

Is there a way we can take Bertans and Deni and that would give the Wiz enough cap room to sign Dinwiddle outright and not have to deal with BKN at all?

Free agent Spencer Dinwiddie is headed to the Washington Wizards on a three-year, $62 million contract via sign-and-trade, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.
Here it comes

The Wizards are sending a second-round pick and a draft swap to Brooklyn to acquire Spencer Dinwiddie, pairing All-NBA star Bradley Beal and Dinwiddie in the Washington backcourt, sources said.

Honestly think Griff just bent over for Klutch as usual. He coulda played hardball and told them to sign him and see what happens in a few days…..we had all the leverage, esp with no big names signing with us. Griff just screwed up.
