The chances of that happening are very slim, like 0.4%.

Can happen, shouldn’t happen. Far greater chance it ends up top 4 than 11th.

And keep in mind this about those crazy, almost unthinkable scenarios where three teams behind the Lakers jump into the top 4 picks: if that were to happen, there's a good chance that one of those teams jumping into the top 4 would be us with our own pick.

Right, so the chances of the Lakers falling to 11, and us NOT moving into 4 have to be infinitesimally small.

The rest of the season is gravy to me considering the Lakers demise.

I'll just enjoy it

Agreed. We made the play-in. Lakers pick will most likely be too 10.

I’m chilling.

OK...since Lakers are officially down the tubes, hows about
everybody pullin' together for good ol' LeBron to win the scoring title? I don't know about y'all, but the baby needs a new pair of shoes...in the Mulberry household !!

He sat out a must win game to preserve a personal scoring title. Lebron is a selfish a-hole and I can’t believe he isn’t getting roasted more for it. Gonna play the bare minimum for the scoring title. Lakers deserve him.

How would sitting out better his chances at getting it?

Suns have a good defense plus him still not being 100%. Better chance at increasing your PPG against the the 3 remaining teams.

Statistically, among teams projected to contend for a title, the 2021-22 Lakers are the largest underachiever for as far back as we have data. At least this team made some sort of history.

our dreams of laker ineptitude are all coming true. Davis is the jackass we knew he was, now only worse because he’s in LA and he thinks he’s some kind of celebrity. Lebron is suddenly human and we know he doesn’t hesitate to shirk responsibility and throw “his squad” under the buss. Their front office is paralyzed, their owners are much less wealthy than most, and their picks... are ours

An article in The Athletic says:

All indications are that Westbrook likely will be moved this offseason and that the desire to part ways is assumably mutual.

And I'm just wondering who that they could persuade to take on that contract.

He may opt out just to move.

Doubt it—but sure an option

Would pretty much have to be John Wall, right?

Really wish teams would stop bailing them out of these stupid decisions
