Meant to Live-Switchfoot

If you liked that, you should check out a few other tracks by switchfoot:
“The Sound”, “Stars”, and “Hello Hurricane”

Listen to

Shout at the Devil
Just Bc you don’t know a band should not be reason to dislike them.

I like the whole Parachutes album, not much after that.

Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name
I really loathe the rock/rap hybrid, as well as Morello's guitar style...
I dunno.. Maybe its the expletive.. maybe the politics.. but I dig it!

With all this hype about "queen", I never was a fan but how can you not like "we are the champions"?

Wild Side is one of the best pure rock songs ever created.

I went to high school and college in the 80s. I know Motley Crue and they do suck. Bands that don't suck don't have to turn their drummer into a ping pong ball in a bingo machine to get people to go to their concerts.

Not a fan of freaking Bon Jovi, but I dig ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive.’ Really cool solo.

I don't like the Eagles but love

The Crue doesn’t suck.
What are they known for? Here’s a few:
1. Co-founders of the Hair Metal genre
2. Sold over 100 million records
3. Had one of the most highly regarded power ballads of all time.
4. By several accounts, blew Ozzy off the stage when they toured with him in ‘84.
5. Had a #1 record in 1989 (Dr. Feelgood).
6. Had one of the most talented drummers in the genre (the acrobatic drum kits were a unique and original part of their shows - especially the Cruecifly on the final tour).
7. Were the face of 80’s metal behind kick arse anthems led by Wild Side, Girls Girls Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Live Wire, Shout at the Devil, All in the Name of.., Primal Scream, Saints of Los Angeles, etc. etc....
8. Penned a best selling tell all autobiography (The Dirt) that will soon be released as a motion picture.
9. Left a lasting legacy that will live on for many years.
I could keep going but I hope you now have an idea about the “scar” Motley Crue has left on the music industry. Not everybody likes Motley Crue (such as yourself) but you need to give credit where credit is due and give them the respect they deserve.

I was never much of a Tesla fan but “Modern Day Cowboy” rocks its arse off. In my opinion, it was a Rock n Roll tour de force.

Agreed. Two important points about that classic song that some may not know:
1. Another example of a song that changes time signature.
2. The song has no guitar solo.
Nikki Sixx the mad genius songwriter created a true classic that is an 80’s Hair Metal staple.
