Saw them a few years back in Austin. Absolutely incredible set. One of those bands who maintain a quality live that mirrors their albums.

Is it cool to hate on GVF on the music board? Not fans?

Actually, I'm probably equally excited about the Lemonheads (doing Ray) and Juliana Hatfield at the Metro on 12/10... knowing full well Dando is a flake...

Juliana Hatfield

So jealous. I saw her in New Orleans around 2003-2004 at the old Howling Wolf where Republic is now & got to meet her after the show. She is just as awkward as you would expect. Yes, I am a metalhead who loves Juliana Hatfield.

Mine too. When tickets were released in March for B-M I was in line.

Saw Jinjer last December in NOLA, and will definitely catch their show this December in ATL. (Tickets for that show went on pre-sale today as a matter of fact.)

Mine was the stadium tour. Waited 2 years for Joan Jett, Poison, and Def Leppard. Not a fan of Motley Crue, but all bands were great!

Yes. The very folks who complained because “no one makes music like Led Zeppelin anymore” heard GVF and were like “but not like that”. I think GVF got a lot of undeserved shite for sounding too much like the greatest rock band of all time, and not enough credit for when they started developing their sound in later releases.

If the worst thing someone can say is that my music sounds too much like my favorite band, I’d assume that I am doing something right, but that’s just me.

I got an email this morning from Metlife Stadium telling me about Rammstein playing there next month. Now I'm thinking, maybe I should go see Rammstein.
