I saw that too. We were wanting to see the replay but they never showed.
I will be there. I was at every game during the Curley years. I’m about to give up going to the games though. Has become more of a hassle than it’s worth.

Yeah i mean i know the last two teams are subpar but this bench looks crazy. All the freshman look really good too.

The last couple of years they played for stats. No passing when going to the goal. So far this year, everyone is getting involved. More shooters than in past and seems like more trust among players. I like what I see but let's see how they handle a tough opponent. Playing at Duke in Dec will be a good test.

What is a homerun hire? Let's look back on previous hires.

Nick Saban- Not a homerun hire at the time-Won a national championship
Les Miles-Not a homerun hire at the time. Won a national championship and played for another
Coach O-Not a homerun hire-won a national championship
Brian Kelly-Some said this was a homerun hire. Was definitely a big name with success. Fired after 3 1/2 seasons.

So, which direction would you go? Give me a young hungry coach that demands physicality.

It was the mega contracts with mega buyouts

it was political. Woodward supported Landry's opponent just like Graves. Don't make an enemy of Landry.

Use downtown as parking. Have a pick-up and drop-off location. People can use bars for tailgating and food.

1. Would need several busses to transport
2. Use a dedicated route to get busses back and forth (maybe River Road)

This is done at UCLA. Parked in Old Town and too the bus in. After the game, they had a route for busses. Bus line was long, and we waited maybe 10 minutes. Need a place for people to park that don' t have a place to tailgate or don't want to go out too early. This could also help downtown restaurants and bars.

Nashville is a neutral site. You can’t just roll into Tuscaloosa and knock on Saban’s door without drawing attention

When they interview, it will be in secret location. Definitely not in a city the coach is located. Would be on a "recruiting" trip so they can meet in an undisclosed location.

I get Jeff’s point about LA taxpayers having to foot the $53Mil buyout if the boosters decide not to pay. That’s a terrible deal.

I really think Woodward had secured the buyout after the Vandy game. It was just a matter of time to pull the plug. I think the A&M debacle accelerated the plan.

The only way Kelly leaves after this year is if LSU wins out and he gets the Penn St job. It’s a win win.

My parents let us wander campus when we were 8-12 and go bowling in the union. It’s a certain demographic fricking things up.

Same here 8-12 age range.. There was a pizza place on the north side of campus with a couple of arcade games. My parents were by the old Alex box and me and a friend would walk to the pizza place. Have a slice of pizza and play games. this was the early 80's though. We would meet them in the seats of the stadium.

I park by the band practice field. Previous years, I had no issues getting home. They quit opening the gates on the north end to allow traffic to get out. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get out the lot.

Don't know what was happening on Highland, but the cops made everyone turn to go through the hood with no cops directing traffic. Took me almost 2 hours to get to Central. Add all the weed smell and I am about to call it quits going to the games.
I worked on a project there about 15 years ago. Loved the area. Was offered a job but couldn't afford to live close to the refinery. Didn't want to travel over an hour each way.

re: Paper tickets?

I still get my season tickets printed. Just a preference for me.
This is the first game I remember attending. I was 8. Yes, I’m old.
I am ready for Christ to return. It will be glorious.
Went through Fayetteville for the first time on my way to Omaha. Beautiful town and clean. I can see why people move there.

got a feeling that that wasn't out of character for her, at least not very far

I don’t know. It was so damn hot even I was getting irritated with shite I would normally laugh at or ignore.

It was very hot. I was in the concession stand line and a guy cut in front of me. I snapped at him and kept at it. I might would say hey bud the line is this way or something. I try to keep to my business. I didn't let up. With all that, I believe the heat made a lot of people do things out of character.

re: Anderson’s 130 pitches

Johnson calculates his decisions. He knew he would need a pitcher to throw like Skenes did in the CWS. I told some friends after the OK game he was testing Anderson to see how he handles the situation. Anderson was needed and responded. Johnson is a lot like Skip. During the regular season it’s about putting players in situations to see how they respond. When the time comes they have been in the situation before. Enjoy the ride because next season will have the same situations and different players executing.
Walked out the hotel and wind almost blew my hat off. Seems like more gusts today. I will go with who can get one right at the foul pole n left. Seems like the only place to hit it
On our way. About 60 miles from Omaha!
