Cousin Brucie said when he had a syndicated oldies show, he was limited to, I think, 256 songs. Then, he went to satellite radio, and had thousands of songs to choose from.

"Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison
I change the station every time it comes on. Every crappy bar band I've ever run across plays that damn song. It just makes me hate it more.
Thankfully, I've never heard anyone attempt and ruin "Tupelo Honey." I love that one.

Most Guns 'n Roses songs suck arse. Axl is such a hack.

Agreed
For me, it's almost everything made after 1995

You could name any of 100 songs that were staples on ButtRock 93.7 classic rock FM from the 80s and 90s.

pretty much anything from AC/DC, Mellencamp, Bryan Adams, Springsteen

Zombie I loathe this song. It is so awful. I mean if you like listening to someone attempt at singing with horrific asthma

The multiple mentions of certain songs bring universality into question.
For instance, Roxane. I'm not the only Sting hater here or in general.

Yea, I can honestly say that whenever I hear the Police in the car now, I change the station.
...but Roxanne is grating.
The whole British ska genre makes me ill.
...The Specials, Capdown, Bad Manners, The Beat... all shart.
Madness was tolerable because they never took themselves seriously.

This is one of the most disturbing threads I've ever read on TD.
I can only assume that the posters here are all Obama fans.
That would explain everything.
We are not the same.
Except the guy that said "Macarena"

That and Margaritaville were on the “no play list” given to the band at a wedding I attended. Solid picks.
