Anyone on the forum see Jim Croce?

I made it a point to take my daughter to see as many of the pioneers as possible before they died, so we saw Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard in the 2005-2006 era. We missed out on Fats Domino who played JazzFest around that same time.

A couple of other people I was glad to see were Tony Joe White and Dickey Betts at Memphis in May. The Betts show was particularly memorable because Jim Dandy Mangrum and his guitarist Ricky Lee Reynolds showed up to watch. Jim Dandy was cool with the fans who wanted to take selfies, while Ricky put on his own show weaving through the audience playing air drums at the band. Good times.

Michael Hutchence......in INXS heyday, no one could command a crowd like him except maybe Jagger. The dude had a presence.

I never saw him live, but in the spring of 1990, when I was a freshman at St. Edward's University in Austin, he played a show at Auditorium Shores on Town Lake during the "In Step" tour.

May 4, 1990. I saw him on May 2 in Oklahoma City. Great show. We both probably should have been studying for finals.
