re: Colorado trip in mid July recs.

Not sure how far you are willing to travel. Aspen/Snowmass is about 3 hours from Denver. Lodging in Aspen is pricey. You can find decent rentals in Snowmass Village. The Maroon Bells and Driving Independence Pass are worthy day trips. Go early in the morning to see wildlife. We had a moose run beside our vehicle driving up Independence pass. The Views along the pass to the Continental divide are spectacular. You can also go online a secure a parking pass for Maroon Bells (avoid the shuttle). We went in July last year. Morning lows were in the upper 40"s.

Atlas is typically fairly reliable. However, this poll is suspect. It has the Dems +15 in the generic poll and AOC as +4 as the dems presidential candidate.

Always thought The Screaming Trees were underrated. Dust was a great album. Also enjoy Mark Lanegan's solo work. Whiskey for the Holy Ghost, Field Songs and Bubblegum are great albums.

Late for the Sky. A powerful relationship song.
“ You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be.”

2017 Astros vs Dodgers (Game 5). Astros came back from 3 different deficits (4-0, 7-4 and 8-7) to finally win 13-12 in extra innings. Win gave them a 3-2 series lead.
Tucumcari and Gallup. Both in New Mexico. We stayed at the Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari and the El Rancho motel in Gallup.

The Windows trail is accessed from the basin. Nice hike about 5 miles in length. Boquillas Canyon Trail is short. The South Rim is about 12 miles (15 if you hike Emory peak). I would try to do that trail again, since access will not be allowed fro two years during construction. Hike up the Laguna Meadows and camp overnight. Hike down the Pinnnacles. The views are spectacular and worth the hike.
Gretchen Goes to Nebraska (King's X) not on the list is a travesty. One of the best albums from 1989.
