Every person I've seen in concert I'm lucky to see before they've passed. Whether they've passed already or yet to pass, they gonna pass sooner or later

Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Allman Bros (minus Duane and Barry Oakley) Charlie Daniels Band, Marshal Tucker Band (minus Tommy Caldwell), Rory Gallagher, Lynyrd Skynyrd with Ed King, Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Artimus Pyle, Leon Wilkerson.

Skipped Tom Petty at Jazzfest because it was raining. He died shortly after.

I’ve seen a bunch of musicians who bit the dust but this is the one I’m most proud of that I got to see.

David Allan Coe many times (not official, but some think he died from COVID, but either way he’ll never play again)

First concert was AC/DC circa 1986 in the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport.
