Crash Worship ..... some crazy late late night shows in the early 90's during Mardi Gras
Holy shite. My old roommate was into them. They came and stayed with us for a week. frickers had a market for food, pipes and drugs set up in different parts of my apartment. I had to gtfo and stay away for awhile.

The Residents
Or
Negativeland......both are more performance art than music.

oh they were heinous ..... but it was the most raw, unscripted mess of a live performance ever

Not really bizarre, but Black Label Society was a different one for me.
Had a damn good time though

Ween is great.
The Genitorturers are way up on uncomfortable shows I've been to. Wasn't expecting to see somebody get their scrotum pierced.
Servotron is a bit more jokey, but I do like their commitment to liberating all machines, and never breaking character. Gwar also never breaks character, and that's outstanding.
Man Man is a great fun weird. The Butthole Surfers were scary weird, as they seemed kinda disinterested in finishing the show and instead wanted to score more drugs. Good on them.
But I'll still go with Octopus Project. I like the full integration with the light show and image projection. Besides, their lead singer plays the theramin. I'll also give a shout out to my sister-in-law's old band, the Rude Staircase. I like any punk band fronted by an acordian player.

Bloodhound gang. Paid people to piss their pants, put a banana up their arse then eat it, dudes to make out with the lead singer, drink room temperature dr. pepper until they vomited, etc. Awesome rock show.

Impotent Sea Snakes.
Saw them when they performed at the Spanish Moon and had no idea what I had signed up for. . .
band members were all in drag, and the show was a cross between a circus act and a perverted peepshow. . . I enjoyed it.
