i had a burned CD of that. Absolutely wore those out
My dad used to make a list of songs he wanted on burned CDs for road trips. One of them had whole lotta love on it, that was the song that opened my mind to finding music from before my time.
actual album At filmore east-allman brothers

Old 97s ‘Fight Songs’. Found out about Wilco, Whiskeytown, etc. and then started to get more into alt-country, Americana, bluegrass and country.

You can’t downvote this even if you don’t like the band
It is a very personal choice in someone’s life that is usually very sentimental and heartfelt
Don’t be an As$
This is very serious

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Ghost in the Machine and Diver Down. First three albums that I bought as a 14 year old in 1982.

Overall, I still give the nod to D Jr., but I can still remember the first time I heard Uncle Tupelo's No Depression... I always liked older country music and was somewhat familiar with some more rootsy bands... but this record floored me and reignited my love of country music and led me down a few years of obsession in the early 90s.. Sill stands to this day... coincidentally, so much Dino Jr in their second record, Still Feel Gone...

I liked Dry, but Steve Albini took her sound next level on this... Amazing record. 4 Track Demos was a nice accompaniment.

Wow to say one album influenced my taste for music would just be impossible.
Growing up my dad would listen to CCR, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash. When he took a break my mom would put on her Fats Domino, Percy Sledge, Ray Charles, and Jerry Lee Lewis albums. Guess that's why I have such a diverse ear for music today.
Some of my first albums were Steppenwolf "Steppenwolf", Black Sabbath "Paranoid", Grand Funk Railroad "Phoenix", ZZ Top "Tres Hombres", Kiss "Alive", and later on Commodores "Movin' On", Ohio Players "Honey", Earth Wind and Fire "All 'n All", The Isley Brothers "Go for Your Guns", and Jefferson Starship's "Red Octopus".
Still educating myself with great tunes and bands. Thanks Music Board.

From earliest memories of music until around age 10 it was country. My grandparents always had the likes of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, etc. going.
At around 10, things changed. This took me into the 80’s and hair metal.
This came along and took me down a different metal path.
This, along with a few others, transitioned me from metal into alternative and indie stuff.
These three lit my 90’s fuse.
Almost simultaneously, this dove me headfirst into indie, big time.
Since then, it’s just been constant exploration and discovery.

I don't think I can name any specific one because I'm all over the place with what I like.

Just try to name one. The catalyst when you were young. It’s not a test.
Ex. Rush or The Cult
