What was the condition of the grounds today? Did it dry up any between Monday and Today? Safe to leave the boots at home tomorrow?

There are spots. But it's mostly pretty good and you can avoid it. I can only really speak to Gentilly and Congo though because I wasn't at acura today. I would say you don't need boots but don't wear anything you would mind getting a bit more dirty than normal conditions.

yesterday was about the most perfect day at the fest i can ever remember
weather was perfect, not crowded at all, no lines anywhere, and great music
saw all or in part amanda shaw, the word, sturgill simpson, cyril neville, and alison krauss. the word i had never heard of before, they were incredible. AK/US was the reason i was there, and they did not disappoint. got right up close and was floating on air afterwards
back at work, yall have fun out there today

Really looking forward to tomorrow weather and music wise, but I know it's gonna be crowded. I haven't been to jazz fest before so just gonna chill out for the day in the sun and explore. Also helps that I don't know anyone going so if you see some guy wandering around looking lost don't be surprised if it's me

Do yourself a favor, get there early and see Chris Stapleton. The guy is very talented and it shouldn't be too crowded that early.
