Survivor. Although Eye of the Tiger is pretty iconic.
They had a really good run after replacing Dave Bickler with Jimi Jamison.

Genesis is another acceptable answer. I absolutely prefer the Peter Gabriel version, but they put out some good songs and became an absolute hit farm with Phil Collins at the front.
This is a really good one. DLR and Hagar is up there.

1: Black Sabbath going from Ozzy to Dio.
2: Judas Priest going from Halford to Ripper.
5: Van Halen going from Roth to Hagar.
These are all controversial but I'll bite
1. Dio is a better singer than Ozzy, full stop, no debate. Of one the best voices in metal history. But Ozzy's voice is what most people think of with BS
2. I much prefer Ripper to Halford. However, Halford is JP and the world prefers him.
5. Roth cannot and could not ever sing. But he was the front man and fit the group. Hagar is an unquestionably better singer.
I wouldn't argue any of the music these bands put out with the replacement singers was better than with original singers and that ultimately is what matters.

Joy Division/New Order Ian Curtis to Bernard Sumner, they changed the band name after Ian Curtis died but it was the same members otherwise. Now I wouldnt say New Order was better but they were certainly more successful.

Black Sabbath replaced a legend with a legend and at the very least was just as great.
Priest lost a living legend and replaced him with a guy not many folks had heard of at the time. That move could have really turned out to be a disaster and instead Priest put out some of its better music during the Ripper era.
I would keep going but I think you get my point by now. All the bands I listed at the very least continued to thrive with new singers. No of them fell flat and took a giant step back.

Wouldn't you consider Roger Waters a co-lead singer?

None of your examples were just as great or even better, imo.
This is the most important part of your post.

This is a tough one I got nothing that hasn't been listed,
Well I guess Rage Against the Machine replacing Zack with Chris Cornell.

SANTANA... had many lead singers over time (Leon Thomas, Gregg Rollie, etc.), but they just kept tickin'.
Jeff Beck Group... from Rod Stewart to Bob Tench
Frank Zappa... to many to mention
Steely Dan.. David Palmer to Donald Fagen

AIC - Layne to William Duval
You got down voted to oblivion but you're right. The last 3 AiC albums have been great, and I'd put 2 of them above the self titled album (Layne's last).
AiC is one of my all time faves, and I loved Layne and his unique voice, but Jerry Cantrell is the engine that makes that car run. Duval has a different voice (as he should) but the harmonizing with Cantrell is still great like it was with Layne.

Let's not get crazy here. I love all 3 albums w/ Duval, but they're not in the same tier as 90s AIC.
They are great rock records w/ lots of replay value, but don't have the emotion they had w/ Layne.

Ditto to those mentioning Genesis. Liked both equally.

I struggle to hear Duval at all on these songs. You never struggled to hear Layne. I will give Duval credit in that he is dependable and has been able to help them keep things going, but it really is a Cantrell solo type group at this point without Layne. (and I have also enjoyed the albums and am glad they made them, but it's not the same)

Sure. Then I guess, Barrett / Waters to Gilmour / Waters would be the transition.
