I think it’s going to be less than that. Robert Smith said he wants to retire when he turns 70 - which will be in 2029.

While this band is 'technically' retired, there is a chance they could come back. My vote is for Aerosmith, frick em.

Frankie Valli
I’m sure y’all have seen the recent videos of him. Looks like a reanimated corpse.

My "okay boomer" take is all the 35-40+ year hard rock/metal bands that do these massive tours but nearly third to half is new material
Sorry but nobody cares about Metallica's new album, everybody wants to hear the old stuff. I know artists want to keep creating but that's not what pays the bills when you have so much good material to tour with. Bands that are around that long just tend to create AI generated songs and albums after a while. Even Dream Theater is doing it.

!00%. Anyone paying to see him is basically paying to look at an old man that use to sing the song because he cannot sing anymore.

I beg to differ. His voice isn't what it was (obviously) but his band is top notch and he's still performing for close to 3 hours.
Btw, this newest guitarist he has- Rusty Anderson, is the best guitarist he's had since Laurence Juber. He's fantastic.

They have been a disgrace since then & I am most embarrassed for John 5. He is way too good to be in Motley Crue now.
Yea that’s like Kiss hiring Eddie Van Halen to replace Ace Frehley.

We saw McCartney's concert a few years ago when he was 80.
Heck of a show.

Bruce. Taken at face value it’s not that bad… but when viewed against live show history it’s really pretty sad.

Metallica should hang it up while the still have a bit of credibility left.
GnR should have shut it down 5 yrs ago.
Motley Crue should have shut it down 10 years ago. They have turned out just like Van Halen....both iconic bands who didn't know when to call it a career and damaged their legacy as a result.

I'll never understand why people think bands who are currently selling out stadiums should retire. Obviously a lot people still really enjoy them

U2 released one of their best albums in 2000.
It is the only album in history to have multiple tracks win the Grammy Award for Record of the Year: "Beautiful Day" at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2001 and "Walk On" at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in 2002.
Great Album!!
Yes Bono is douchey doesn’t change the greatness of U2
