I've seen Gonzo a couple times, but not in the last several years. He used to put on a damn good show. Hope his fossil arse can still get down.

the last time i saw him, it wasn't a great show by any means. But he's still a legend and can still tell a story. Just don't yell out "play redneck mother". I've seen him walk off the stage till they kicked the guy out. He can be an a-hole in his old age. His band is still top notch.

I saw him last summer. I can't compare to years gone by, but I will say it was an excellent show.

Marathon? I thought his back was so bad he could barely get around.

Love JJW. Going to his Belize get-together is on my bucket list.

First time I saw him was at the Red River Revel at a free concert around 1991. Haven't seen him in about 10 years, but I would imagine he's still pretty damn good.

I still think his Live at Gruene Hall is one of the best albums of all time.

He has a bad back and can't stand around for very long so he'll probably sit on a stool the whole time. I saw him a few years ago for his birthday bash and he still sounded great. Y'all will have an awesome time.

Saw him outdoors at the Red River Revel about ten years ago. It was raining and there were a couple of hundred people there. He put on a great show. My then-girlfriend lived in Austin and had some mutual friends with him, so we went up and talked to him a bit after the show.

He was awesome. I met him afterwards. He commented on some cougars cans to her face. He was drunk and awesome.
