Who does?
I mean, is there anything semi-decent after Atchung Baby?

Henry Rollins has sucked for 50 years, and he's supposed to be some sort of gauge as to what's good?
But yes, I agree with him on the band's proficiency.

Does anyone go out of their way to ask themselves, "Gee I wonder what Henry Rollins thinks of this band?"
I would agree though, that after Achtung Baby, what they've put out has mostly stunk, although All That You Can't Leave Behind does suck less than anything after it.

I've only posted that video (along with this one) about a dozen times...

U2's first 5 studio albums were great. After that, they really lost their edge.

Not a big U2 fan, but they're a helluva lot better than Henry Rollins or Black Flag.

Atchung Baby?

I grew up when U2 blew up…
And even though their music was playing everywhere they were always so meh
I don’t hate them…I never cared enough to

In 1983 they were great, I had never heard anything like them. They put out War, Boy, unforgettable Fire and October which were all good albums
We all anticipated there next album which was Joshua Tree , they were done. That album sucked but it's when your average listener discovered them and they became huge. They became progressively shittier after that , chasing the next Big Hit.

Outside of the Black Flag era, the most entertaining videos I've seen of Henry Rollins are when he loses his shite going off on teenage fans who offended his sensibilities by saying Hi or expressing interest in his music.

Loved Rollins with Black Flag but could never really listen to The Rollins Band..
Get in the Van is a must read and his radio show is very good...
Like anyone who is that opinionated and talks that much... it can get tiresome, but I generally like him..
I dont think his take on U2/Bono is unique... Its pretty much the general consensus on Bono...

I didnt really like that record or Rattle and Hum in the moment... but listening back, I have grown to really like both of them...
Everything past that is not for me...

U2 is mother fricking arse.

I watched a lecture/Q and A by him about 15 years ago. He's an immensely foolish and unintelligent person, that tries hard to sound articulate and clever.

Millions really like U2. I’m one of them. I’ve never heard of Henry Rollins though.

Loved War and Unforgettable FIre when they came out.

I also like U2. Like. Not love. Achtung Baby is great, came out at the right time in life I guess, adolescence. Of all the horse shite on the radio, it was actually good. Refreshing. I bought the tape. I didn't love it enough to shell out for the CD though. I really like some of the tracks on Zooropa too. It was very forward for its time, and predicted much of the future.

There's no excuse for this. You should be banned from posting on this board.
