Houses of the Holy, but I've never really liked No Quarter - I know, I am about to kicked out of this joint.
Physical Graffiti, but just my favorite songs to make one disc of it.

#2 for me but it’s hard to pick. Really depends what mood I’m in. They did a great job of constantly reinventing themselves from album to album in my opinion.

Four is a masterpiece. To this day every song is played on the radio except four sticks, which is amazing. My favorite Zeppelin song(When the Levee Breaks) finishes off the perfect album.
Just beautiful. My favorite album ever made hands down.

Physical Graffiti and, for as good as their other albums are, it really isn't close.

I feel like 2 and 4 are masterpieces.
The debut album is wholly underrated and forgotten by even Led Zeppelin fans (at times) during these discussions.
That's a debut album.
Plant and Bonham were TWENTY years old. It was recorded in UNDER FORTY HOURs.
II is brilliant, tight, no filler. Plant and Bonham barely 21 when it was finished.
III is only a little jarring, but a masterpiece in its own right - just not what folks were expecting after I and II.
"IV"/ZOSO/Runes/Untitled is SO good, it becomes cliché and hipsters try to pretend it isn't good, especially Stairway - only the most played/bought/downloaded/referenced/influential rock song ever ... ever.
HotH's only flaw is The Crunge, which some folks even like.
Physical Graffiti is about the only LZ album that can be accused as having filler and that is all too common with a double album. The "good" that is on there is fantastic.
Presence is about the only LZ album I don't enjoy as an album. And yet it is some folks' favorite.
In Through the Out Door? Brilliant.
So, excluding TSRTS and Coda, EVERY LZ album was a masterpiece, except, maybe, Presence and some folks want to fight me for that one.
It's amazing the four of them could make music that was so heavily panned by critics (of the time, anyway) and yet so successful and, no, enduring 50 years.
It's not like they were the Beatles (

IV closely followed by Physical Graffiti.

I discovered Led Zeppelin as a teenager and dived hard into their whole catalog -- at 15 I owned every single one of their albums, including their live releases and Page & Plant reunion stuff. I've heard every track of theirs bajillions of times, and almost all of them are great.
But at 31 I feel I've played them out a little too much. A few songs, like Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven, I can't even listen to anymore. However, there's one album I continuously come back to and that's Led Zeppelin I. I love Plant singing the blues and I can't help but go nuts when listening to Babe I'm Gonna Leave You or Dazed and Confused.

For me they are GOAT they changed my whole world when I first heard them as a freshman in high school. The first time I listened to LZII I missed the first hour of class because I became so engrossed in the music. From that moment on I have never been able to get enough of them.
For me because of the the life changing moment it's still LZII.
However they all are spectacular in their own way. I love how each album is it's own the sound is there but different. If I had a second vote it would be physical Graffiti but of all their albums that took me a while to grasp the entire album.

Zep 2 has always been my personal favorite. If I were to introduce a new listener I’d go with 4. Houses of the Holy is awesome. But 2 is my favorite.

4 and Physical Graffiti for me though they are all damn good.
I would encourage all Zeppelin fans to check out the stuff they have on YouTube, there are some really good performances on there by them.

How the West Was Won
It's their live album recorded at a few concerts in LA/San Diego. Far above all studio albums they did.

I am surprised some people listed that as their favorite. I find it pretty underwhelming and not great relative to the rest. Maybe two good songs on it that are Zep worthy: NFBM and Achilles. Band was kind of at a nadir.

That is like saying Exile on Main Street has too much filler when its a brilliant album.
