Or other Christian rock? My mom did and it drove me nuts. Even made me go to one of their concerts.

Knew one song, but didn't leave a lasting impression. Not sure I would recognize any of their songs today.

No, but I went to school with Christians that did. They liked bands like third day, audio adrenaline,
etc.

Ended up in a backseat with one of those christian girls later on down the road,..but that would be more of an OT story.

No. None of us liked Christian Rock, though I jammed the hell out of "Flood." It may be the only "christian rock" song I ever liked.

My Grandmother loved Old Crow Medicine show, when she was in her 90s. My Mom is in her 80s and likes The Rolling Stones and The Beatles and Old R&B, and Motown.

Nothing wrong with Third Day.

DC Talk was just a decent cover group (not band) mimicking whatever music was popular at the time.

Audio Adrenaline and Newsboys were always a little too cheesey, but Newsboys were capable of making some good songs.

MXPX for the win.

Both of my parents were born in 1926. Back in the 70’s my dear departed dad used to subject me to the elevator music crap on WQXY.

I'm 37 seconds in and this song is not good. Perhaps it hasn't aged well.

I fricked with DC Talk a lot as a kid in elementary and middle school.

Yep....MxPx was the goto for Christian band in the 90s. I saw Jars of Clay at some large Christian rock festival held in Lexington back in the 90s as a teen. Flood was a genuinely good song, I still jam it. But yeah, those Christian rock bands were all just very generic and never did much for me. I listen to music for the sake of music.
