I jam to that song on the regular. It was easily the best track off of their reunion album. I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get to go see them at the Cajun Dome on that tour. I would much rather see Alter Bridge than Creed, but I really wanted to get to see both at some point.

I agree. Somehow it got to a point where it was cool to hate on Nickleback and it just took off. Just dumb luck I guess

I'll go with Nickelback. I'm certainly not what you would call a fan of either band but I don't know how the whole phenomenon about them being awful started. Considering the shite that some "artists" put out today, both bands are really not that bad and they had some catchy songs.

Train isn’t a rock band and never has pretended to be, they’re a pop act. They’re not respected by rock guys, just ignored completely. Also, by all accounts, their band members are nice, humble people. Nickelback and Creed are hated mostly due to off-stage shenanigans.

For both bands there was a short window of “this has promise” followed by a lot of “blah” and “wtf is wrong with that guy”
I don’t get the universal super hate of either but given the answers here maybe it’s not as bad as it sometimes seeks
