Cover/Party Bands in Louisiana

Looking for recommendations for a good cover/party band to entertain about 2000 people. This event hits the 40-55 demographic, but we also are wanting to attract the 28-35 age group.
Want a wide array of tunes from the 80’s-today. Preferably someone with their own lighting and sound production.
Thanks in advanced.

Souled Out
Great party band and they know how to get the crowd involved. Awesome musicians as well.

Contraflow
Best lead vocalist who has not “made it”. He has the uncanny ability to almost flawlessly mimic whatever lead vocalist he’s covering. They put on a great show with so many 70’s and 80’s hard rock and metal hits and nail every one. And......their setlists are long. I saw them one night a couple of years ago and they played a staggering 35 songs.

How far out is this event? 3 hours worth of music?

This has the Molly Ringwalds or Bag of Donuts written all over it. But they won't be cheap.

as everyone else has said, donuts would be a solid choice. Ill give you something else though that would be worth looking into from arkansas, Tragikly White. that size crowd and demographic would be a perfect fit. I'm quite sure you would be impressed. might even be a little easier on the pocketbook than say donuts. (strictly a guess, as i have no clue what either charges)They draw big crowds up this way.

The molly's charged us around $8k for an event like this. Was not expecting that but we paid it.

This event isn’t until February 21, 2020. I’ve worked with this fundraiser the last 3 years. When I came in, they had used Stormy for 10 years. It was long overdue to make a change. This year we used LA Roxx, which was a great value and the crowd really liked it. I just don’t want to reuse the same band year after year.
My 1st thoughts were Bag of Donuts, Molly Ringwalds, & The Cher Wees. I’m also considering a band like After 8. I have a budget to keep in mind, but Im usually able to squeeze a little more out of it.

Five Finger Discount is solid, and I don't think they break the bank. Your best bet is to take a list from here, call each one and see which availability and price matches your needs.

Where Yacht. The premier yacht rock cover band in all the land. They're popular in NOLA but for some reason ignored in br.

I’d take a look at The Mixed Nuts. Great band. Very versatile. Huge setlist.

Same here for an event we had this past March in Natchitoches. They put on a nice show and they were very professional and easy to work with.

Flamethrowers are pretty good too. I believe they're from Lake Charles.

It’s insane people pay that and keep paying it.
