Brian Johnson or Bon Scott?

My opinion is Bon Scott with the edge. But Back in Black is still one of the all time greatest albums. AC/DC overall got better as a band on the Johnson era.

That's essentially blackface, so it's racist.
Yup...this thread is political.

Back in African-American doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Didn’t Ted Danson sing Back in Blackface when he dated Whoopie?

That was Cum on Black face.
eta: sung to the tune of Fell on Black Days by Soundgarden.
eta2: Lithium played Fell on Black Days as I was driving home after posting this and I had to sing it with the new lyrics.

Bon was a more clever songwriter. Brian probably is a better singer. Even if Bon hadn't died when he did, he wouldn't have lasted this long. So from a music perspective, it probably worked out for the best.

Bon Scott. Johnson was basically just growling.

I love Back in Black, and have a bunch of good memories while listening to it, but Highway to Hell is better. Another vote for Bon

Scott. Only like a handful of Johnson led AC/DC songs.

Bon.
Go watch some old concerts. He is the epitome of a rock-n-roll front man. His voice also fits the songs he sings perfectly.

I'm no AC/DC aficionado, but they sound about the same to me and I like them both.
