Big part of the problem we have in the country today is the death of rock.

Back when the country was strong you had rock music that was fricking awesome. Just jamming electric guitar solos and shite. What do we have nowadays? A bunch of computers.

That was back before Elvis, and before, the Vietnam war, came along.

There's a ton of great rock being made out there. The problem is that FM radio, tv/movies, and advertisers largely won't play it. You really have to hunt for it. It can only be found by those who know where it is.

Bastard tried to kill Waylon Jennings.

Of course, after that, Waylon Jennings tried to kill Waylon Jennings with pills and cocaine.

There’s been a pretty obvious correlation between the ills of society and the popularity of rap.

Murder rate has gone down as the popularity of rap has increased.

Look up the band Greta Van Fleet. They are Led Zeppelin in 2018.

Singer sounds exactly like Robert Plant.

The rock of yesterday was born out of rebellion. Growing up in the wastelands of humanity left after the world wars and the whole dynamic of the Cold War.

Then Vietnam. The world changing.

There was still something to rage against. To struggle against.

What is is now? Your double mocha half frapp latte with soy milk is too hot? The instantaneous delivery of media to the supercomputer in your palm takes a few seconds longer?

We live in the halcyon days. That’s why so much new mainstream music sucks. It’s not born out of pain.

Same with music

Grew up on rock and morphed over to Amity Affliction, BMTH, Motionless In White, etc. The talent is insane nowadays.
